| Situated behind the world's most famous and spectacular "outdoor museum" (St Mark's Square with its Basilica and Doge's Palace), our B&B stands in one of the oldest and smallest streets in Venezia that hasn't yet been swept away by mass tourism and where you can still find artisanal workshops and shops for the locals. Its special position as described above makes it an ideal starting-point to discover, in a single walkabout, all the city's attractions. St Mark's Square with all its treasures (the Bridge of Sighs, the Campanile, the Correr Museum, the Basilica) is Venice's most important attraction but it is also the main point of departure to reach all the most historically interesting places, such as the Rialto Bridge, the Accademia and the Peggy Guggenheim Collection, the Fenice Theatre, the Ca' D'Oro, the Querini Stampalia, the Church of Miracles, the Church of San Giovanni and San Paolo, and that of San Zaccaria and San Zulian; historical attractions that are located only a short distance away, and are easily reached in a stroll from the B&B. |
