The room was poorly lit, the decor was drab and old fashioned, and the valuables safe did not work. Breakfast was basic, and served late. The wireless lan did not appear to be available.

The hotel does not have a lift, and it is over 4 floors - they are steep floors so be aware if you do not like climbing!

A basic, budget hotel worthy of 1 or 2 nights stay maximum. People staying in Venice more than 2 nights should seek out a more modern hotel. However, the location is ideal - extremeley close to the bus and train stations.
