How To Reach Us

By Plane
Marco Polo International airport in Venice is placed 14 kilometres from Ai Carmini Residence, receiving connections from cities all over the world as well as Rome on a daily basis. There are several means of public transport to reach the inn.

By Car
You should bear in mind that in Venice you will not get farther than Piazzale Roma or Piazzalle Tronchetto by car: at these two piazzales you will find garages where to park your vehicle. As you leave the airport, take motorway SS14 and afterwards, SR11. Cross Ponte de la Libertá bridge and as you get into Venice, turn right for Piazzalle Tronchetto and left for Piazzale Roma (the latter is found closer to the property, only 5 minutes on foot, so it would be more convenient to choose it).

By Train/ Vaporetto (public transport)
At Marco Polo airport, get on the public buses ("ATVO" shuttle bus or "ACTV" bus number 5) that reach Piazzale Roma in 15 minutes. Afterwards you can walk to the property, 10 minutes approx, or take a ferry boat (number 82) and get off at San Basilio stop; from this point you must walk another 5 minutes to Ai Carmini. In the first case, the streets you must go along in order to come to the lodging are Ramo Cossetti, Ponte Tre Ponti, Fondamenta dei Tre Ponti, Fondamenta del Pagan, Fondamenta de la Cazziola, Calle dei Ragusei and finally, Fondamenta del Soccorso.

Meanwhile, those guests coming by train can arrive in Santa Lucia station in Venice from Rome in services that take around 4 hours and a half. Once in Santa Lucia, you may take the Vaporetto or walk around 20 minutes: go along Fondamenta Santa Lucia, Fondamenta dei Scalzi, Ponte Scalzi, Fondamenta San Simeon Piccolo, Fondamenta de la Crosa, Fondamenta Cosseti and you will reach Piazzale Roma. From there follow the indications already described.
