The staff were very accomodating and even stayed open past published check-in time when we rang to tell them that we were running late.

This place exceeded our expectations. We arrived late due to the ferry schedule, yet they stayed up to meet us and even gave us a bottle of wine and something to eat when we arrived. The location is great, within easy walking distance to everything you need for a Venice stay, but pleasantly situated outside of the hubub of Venice. We found the local area on Lido Island to be very much to our liking and not as touristy as Venice proper. All in all, it exceeded our expectations.

already have, simple to use, well laid out with distinct information, when we started organising our trip your site was far better than any other I visited. Used it to book 3 locations, Villa Albertina (Venice) Villa Calcinaia (Tuscany) and Sanpi Milano (Milan)

I have recommended your website to a friend visiting Venice soon. I like the fact that you can see the hotels and rooms and rates are clear. I tried to book one hotel which came back unavailable but others replied offering rooms and that's how I got the Hotel Albertina which was very nice.

A nice, clean small Villa type hotel. Near to buses/ferry to Venice - good place for long or short(3 days+)stay visiting Venice.

It would have been convenient to have a fridge in the room, even for soft drinks (they did not want anyone having 'picnics' in the room or drinking alcoholic beverages).

It's probably worth noting that no one is on the desk in the late evening or overnight. That was fine with us, but it could be problematic in case of emergency.

The Lido makes a great option to Venice proper. And this place is exactly as billed.

We actually stayed at the Villa Paradiso, which is a dependent of Villa Albertina. Villa Paradiso is very nice and we had excellent service.

No one provided us with the remote for the air conditioner and therfore we never used it.

A description of the way to the hotel from the nearest bus stop on the Lido would be helpful.

The quadruple we got was okay, but it was more or less a double room with two additional beds - so hardly any space for four people.
Breakfast coffee was terrible.

When we arrived there in evening, only support stuff was there. She did not know our booking condition.

The 'Superior' called room was not appropriate description. Old furniture was stincky and we did not want to use closet.
This Villa was described as 3 stars on the web site, but it was 2 stars and we got only 2 times towel change service per week. Shower cabin's slide door was defect and we could not close it properly. A washbasin
was leaned and water always leak, therefore bath floor was often very wet.
The room was often moistured during our stay. The lamp of bathroom was out of order on 2nd night and it was not repaired during our stay even if we requested next day and some days later again. The location was best for the international Film Festival.
Outside is decorated nicely with flower and some furniture.

1) Hotel category is 2 stars, not 3 stars. It should be corrected.
2) Iron use is not allowed.
3) Towel exchange is only 2 times/week because of 2 stars hotel.
4) Nearest bus station is not casino side, but Via Sandro Gallo side.

Location is good for the film festival, but comfortable stay can not be expected.
