Alloggi Barbaria is conveniently near the Fondamente Nuove and this is part of its charm, you don't feel any of the mass tourist pressure here. The hotel is easy to reach from either the Marco Polo international airport (as it is only a 5 minute walk along the water front to the hotel from Fondamente Nuove water bus station) or train station and Piazzale Roma (the Ospedale water bus station is also right near the hotel, just a 2 minute walk, which saves you lugging bags through the streets of Venice to get to the hotel). |
From the Marco Polo international airport:
Take Alilaguna water bus service which leaves at the minutes 40 of every hour until 23.40. You will reach the Fondamente Nuove stop in 25 minutes, get off and turn left along the waterfront until Querini (a rowing club), then right down Calle delle Cappuccine to arrive to Alloggi Barbaria 100 metres ahead on the left.
From the train station or Piazzale Roma:
Take line 52 water bus service to Ospedale stop, from here turn left as you get off the boat, then right down Calle delle Cappuccine to number 6573. |
