we were met from the bus and guided to Al Pozzo - he wouldn't even let us carry our case :-) Very friendly & pleasant. ... woulr recomend it to anyone! ... wish we could have stayed longer :-) ... The shower/half bath was unusal. I haven't seen one like it before and awkward to get in and out of. Not made for larger people. Plenty of hot water though. ... Simple, uncluttered, and the building and square it is locatated in is typical of Venice. Well placed for exploring. will definatly stay there again. Highly reccomend the newsagent across the square - very helpful, they sell maps and small collection of glass that is the same as everywhere else but reasonably priced. Eat at Da Sandro - pizza to die for, it is across the first bridge just out of San Polo toward the Rialto. As you walk in from Piazzale Roma there is a place with 2 windows - one sells ice cream, the other slices of pizza. Its next to the Jurrasic shop. Their Icecream is the best in Venice.

A map with al the streets neccessary would e more helpful as we made a few wrong turns. It was well marked when we got there though. ... Michaele was very helpful and even organized a concert and early breakfast for us. For tourists, having breakfast early would be an advantage as we like to be out and about early to fit things in. ... Credit cards would be nice. We checked out the night before as we had to leave early. No problems. ... Just clearer directions, perhaps a map tracing the route from the water stop. ... Clean, friendly, easy to get back to and good value for money.

This place is a great location to explore Venice and reasonably priced in comparison to other places. Very clean and tidy and the breakfast is pretty good too. We would definitley recommend this place.

We had to phone for the landlady, but she has come immediatly. ... Th room was sometimes not realy warm, but on the website it was announced as 'hot in winter'. ... It was a clean room, the floor was aut of stone. The window was to a very small courtyard. The bathroom was fairly clean and not too much freqented. Sometimes it was too less warm in the room. The breakfast was quiet good for italian relations: Coffee, cornetto, two rolls, honey, jam, butter. Very, very quiet. Good place to stay in Venice.

It is very hard to navigate through Venice. ... We had a 5-person room which was tight, especially considering the fact that there was no AC. ... Better directions would be helpful. ... Efficient but not very spacious. Good location.

I was a little surprised at how small this place was. The little didn't state that it was actually a bed and breakfast, not a hotel. This was a problem because I had a friend who was meeting me there (she was on a different flight) and there was no one there to greet her. The room was also VERY noisy, as it was next to the kitchen, so once people started getting up, I could no longer sleep.
