Lady on desk extremely helpful and welcoming, ... Hotel excellent - staff very helpful, polite and friendly. including Reception, night porter, and breakfast waitresses. room was cleaned daily to a high standard. ... EAsy and organised. ... Within easy walking distance of water bus.
Offers best of both worlds - close to beach ( for children) but also very easy to get to St Marks Square. ...
Much better than expected - especially our room which was comparatively roomy given that three people were in the room - excelent family room. Hotel was elegant and friendly.

The 1st night was spent in a nearby hotel due to plumbing problems with our room. ... The waiting staff were quite surly at breakfast time but the staff on the reception desk were always polite and helpful.
Some noise at night caused by footsteps and doors from the room above. ... we were allowed to leave our bags in the lobby after checking out to pick up later. ... It was a very relaxing place to stay with a nice location situated at the edge of one of Lido's canals.

an excellent hotel well placed forall our needs.i would recommend the lido and hotel to all my friends. ... will come again ... satisfactory ... this is a very quiet hotel well situated for the vaporetta service and good small restuarents on the lido. This is much better than trying to find reasonable restaurants in the heart of venice ... a great find especially for mature and older friends

I'm not sure if balconies were included in my reservation, but when we arrived we were given a corner room with 2 balconies - lovely. ... I don't quite remember the web site, but I was more than pleased with the property. The bathroom was very good and the location of our room overlooking the canal was wonderful. The hotel was not far from the vaporetto and on a very interesting (lively, but not noisy) street. The room that we were in did not look professionally decorated, but it was charming, clean, and spacious. I don't know how the air conditioning would be in the hot months, as we did not need it. ... Everything went as expected both in checking in and in checking out. ... I cannot remember the exact website (however, I was very impressed with the location--not on the noisy main street, but in an area where there were bars, restaurants, and markets--perfect!) ... clean, spacious, adequate breakfast, helpful, excellent location, wonderful bathroom, I would highly recommend it to family and friends

It was very quiet and shops & restaurants are from 1 minut walking from the hotel, also the beach was 10 minutes walking from the hotel. And the boats for Venice are close by.

Mattress on our bed was very thin, and you could feel every slat. Bed was not very comfortable. It was like sleeping on a bad fold out couch. ... Staff speaks very good English and was very helpful. Breakfast staff was very attentive, coffee was great. ... Quiet, friendly, good room set up. Good price for the accommodation.

The service at breakfast was very imperpersonal. My friends and me had not the feeling, that we were welcome so early in the morning (08:30 a.m.) ... The location of the Hotel is very good to stay in Venice. It is a silent place outside of the tourist traffic. The vaporetto stop is not very far. You have also the opertunity of going to swim in the adriatic sea after visiting the city, because the beach is not far from the hotel.

The Junior Suite is one room and you have to take a scale to join 1 large bed for 2 kids 2 meters higher... so that we chose to take another room with 2 real beds for kids ... Very nice rooms for 2 people in level 1 to 4, good suite at level 0 for a family
