By car:
- From the highways: passed the barrier, you follow the indications for Venice. Once arrived, you leave the car in one of the parking lot of the Tronchetto (to the right, after the long Ponte della Libertà) or Piazzale Roma, the terminal of the autos.
- From the Tronchetto, and from Piazzale Roma: you have to take the vaporetto ACTV number 2 for Giudecca and exit at the stop San Basilio. From here in 2 minutes, you will arrive to the Locanda Avogaria. You continue by foot on Calle del Vento (in front of the stop of the vaporetto), to cross Campo San Basegio and to continue on the fondamenta. The second calle on the right is Calle of the Avogaria. The inn Avogaria is at number 1629 of Calle della Avogaria.
By train:
From the railway station of Venezia Santa Lucia: from the Fondamenta in front of the station you take the vaporetto ACTV number 2 for Giudecca and you go down to the stop San Basilio. From here in 2 minutes, you will arrive to the Locanda Avogaria. You continue by foot on Calle del Vento (in front of the stop of the vaporetto), to cross Campo San Basegio and to continue on the fondamenta. The second calle on the right is Calle della Avogaria. The inn Avogaria is at number 1629 of Calle della Avogaria.
By airplane:
- From the airport of Venice Marco Polo (13 km): with the shuttle ATVO or with the bus ACTV no. 5 reach the terminal of the autobus in Venice, Piazzale Roma. You take therefore the vaporetto ACTV no. 2 for Giudecca and you go down to the stop San Basilio. From here in 2 minutes, you will arrive to the Locanda Avogaria. You continue by foot on Calle del Vento (in front of the stop of the vaporetto), to cross Campo San Basegio and to continue on the fondamenta. The second calle on the right is Calle della Avogaria.
- From the airport of Treviso San Joseph (30 km): you reach Venice with the shuttle EUROBUS-ATVO. Arrived to Piazzale Roma, the terminal of the cars in Venice, you continue as above. |
