Coming by Train: Santa Lucia train station is located within short walking distance from the Hotel Basilea. Once you have reached Venice by train cross the Bridge in front of the station (Ponte degli Scalzi) and the follow the street in front of you. After some metres you will turn left and cross the river (it is the only possible way out). Just after the bridge turn right and that is Fondamenta Marin, follow the street and you will see the hotel on your right hand.
Coming by Car: exit at Venice and follow the road signs. The nearest place where you can leave your car is Piazzale Roma. From there is a 5 minutes walk. Follow the signs to the station and once in front of the Ponte degli Scalzi follow the instructions above.
Coming by Air: the nearest airport is Venice Marco Polo airport. Take the shuttle to Piazzale Roma and follow the instructions above. |
