By plane: Marco Polo International airport in Venice is placed 16 kilometres from B&B Ca' Pier, receiving connections from cities all over the world as well as Rome on a daily basis. There are several means of public transport to reach the inn.
By car: You should bear in mind that in Venice you will not get farther than Piazzale Roma or Piazzalle Tronchetto by car: at these two piazzales you will find garages where to park your vehicle. As you leave the airport, take motorway SS14 and afterwards, SR11. Cross Ponte de la Libertá bridge and as you get into Venice, turn right for Piazzalle Tronchetto and left for Piazzale Roma.
By Vaporetto (public transport):
- At Marco Polo airport, get on the public buses ("ATVO" shuttle bus or "ACTV" bus number 5) that reach Piazzale Roma in 15 minutes. Afterwards you can take the vaporetto (line 1 direction Rialto, Ca' d'Oro); get off at Ca' d'Oro stop, walk up to Strada Nuova and turn right; keep on for another 50 metres and you will find Bembo street on your left. The lodging is at the end of this track, on your right hand side. Otherwise at the air terminal you can take the motorboats belonging to the "Alilaguna" line, get off at Fondamente Nuove and follow the signs for Campo Santi Apostoli. Then take Del Duca street and Bembo street.
- Meanwhile, for those guests coming by train and arriving in Santa Lucia station take vaporetto ACTV line 1 and get off at Ca' d'Oro stop. |
