A very detailed small map of the location of the accomodation, the Vaporetto stop, and the Rialto Bridge. Perhaps a photograph of the front door, as difficult to identify in the dark.
...
Wonderfully quiet and the perfect location. Only a short walk to all the best attractions and resturants.

While the location of the hotel is great, we were standing right in front of it before realizing we were doing so. The entrance is a bit confusing; you should tell people to go inside the front entrance to the elevator which is not readily identified and take it to the third floor. The reception personnel were extremely polite and effective in meeting all of our requirements.
...
The rooms were as expected but you should warn people that they are not level. Takes a bit of getting used to but acceptable. We had the two mini suites. The one with the view of the Grand Canal is great; the one advertising the view of St. Mark's is a bit of an exaggeration.
...
Compared to the outrageous prices of hotels in Venice, this is a very good value. The location is worth the price. Easy access to the vaporetto, easy walking distance to everything you want to see.
...
While on the Grand Canal, the rooms are quiet enough. Breakfast is fine and of good value. The elevator is a necessity for anyone with health problems (one of our group has severe arthritis).
...
Quaint, great location, good value for Venice, helpful and friendly personnel. The tilted room is quite unique but more than acceptable.

Very happy with accommodation standard offered
...
Accommodation, location and staff all excellent. Probably a little overpriced but everything in Venice is!!!
...
No problems and they were happy to store luggage on last day which was important
...
luggage storage

would highly recommend if wanting something quiet and private but on the Grand Canal and within sight of the Rialto Bridge (and price wasn't an issue).

Due to the sinking of Venice, the floor of the hotel was far from level. This didn't really bother me, but perhaps it might bother someone, especially an old person who might not be too stable on their feet.
...
Very quaint little B&B in a great location. Fabulous view of the Grand Canal from the Junior Suite. Definitely a great experience.

One of our rooms was not available on our first night so they gave us an upgrade at no extra charge. They also moved the bags from one room to the other.
...
Andrea remembered us form our visit three years age.
...
A very clean, small, friendly hotel conveniently located to transportation, the Grand Canal and other main attractions.

Very pleasant and helpful staff made our stay even more enjoyable.

We would definetly recommend the Bembo to travelers looking for reasonable accommodations in the heart of Venice. Will stay here on our next visit. Well located, attractive, historic, clean and great staff. The view of the mountains from the breakfast room was an added treat.
...
Hotels in Venice are not cheap but the Bembo is great value for money. Our room was comfortable, clean and relaxing and the staff very helpful and accommodating. They went out of the way to help solve some travel problems we had. The location is great.

The entrance is actually on the side street, not the main street address. We went past it three times before we figured it out. A map showing the exact entrance would be very helpful.
...
It is a lovely B&B with beautiful rooms, excellent breakfast and very responsive staff. We would definitely stay there again.

Directions from St Marks's Square to the Hotel were not clear. You could explain that walking is a lot quicker than taking the Vaporetto, & provide a map were the streets are more clearly marked.
...
It wasn't clear what was available as room service. Also, we felt that Reception was not in a good place,(backing onto the bedroom we stayed in). This felt a bit intrusive,& less private.
However, overall we really appreciated & enjoyed our stay. The room was comfortable & spacious,& the breakfast generous & imaginative.

...
It was helpful to be able to leave our luggage at the Hotel, after checking out, due to an evening flight.
...
Unusual, comfortable & generous.

We had booked a twin room, but the two beds were pushed together and made up with double sheets etc. We were advised that an alteration was not possible. As we are mature sisters we settled for the qtatus quo!
...
The free water taxi to Murano with a guided tour of a glass factory was an added bonus which we thoroughly enjoyed
...
A stones throw from the Rialto bridge, traditional Venetian building, quiet, civilised, excellent breakfast. Overall a good experience - pricey but worth it for a short break

When we arrived, we were told that the air conditioning was not working due to a problem with a water shortage. The water was also not working, and my friend who arrived first (after traveling for almost two days) could not shower for approximately 3 hours until the water situation was resolved. The air conditioning was never restored, and we spent two days in extreme heat. The hotel overall was very nice, and if the air conditioning and water situation had been different, our stay would have been perfect. The hosts were very kind and tried to be accommodating in every way to make up for the discomfort. I would recommend the hotel to friends, but only in the winter or spring, because we definitely are under the impression that the airconditioning problem is a recurring one.
...
We only paid less because of the airconditioning/water problems. If those two things had been in operation, I would have said that it was definitely a good value for the money (even on the original quoted terms).
...
Very clean, hospitable, extremely well located. Breakfast was great, and the views were fantastic.

The reception staff could not have been more helpful. We arrived in Venice early in the morning as we took an early flight. We went to the hotel purely to ask if we might be able to leave our suitcase in the reception area rather than struggle around with until we were allowed to check in at 2pm. The staff allowed us to check in immediatly (approx 10.30am) which gave us the most lxurious start to our stay and we are very, very grateful for that.
...
Our stay was all we could of hoped for and more. Our room was lovely. It was warm, comfortable and spotless.
...
We did not notice on the website that our room would have a fridge in it, this would of been quite helpful for us to know.
...
We would say that the accomodation was of a very high standard, wonderfully convenient for seeing Venice and tranquil. We left feeling like we had had a really restful and peaceful time.

As we had a late flight, it would have been nice to be able to freshen up before we went to the airport, however, no such facilities were available

the staff was very polite at first, but became a little overbearing (see below)
...
the hotel and rooms were clean, spacious and charming
...
the staff person told us on arrival that Venice was sold out, and that we needed to make dinner reservations because everything was going to be crowded. He offered to make reservations for us for both nights, at specific places he recommended, so we did. when it turned out that we decided to change our plans, he was quite unfriendly and almost rude to us. We felt that the staff was probably getting kickbacks from the restraunts, and that we were taken advantage of as tourists. We felt that way more than once while in Venice
...
Really enjoyed the location and accomodations, but would not recommend taking tips from the staff about things to do orplaces to eat.

When we arrived at Palazzo Bembo, we were asked to enter the builing, climbe 2 flights of stairs then enter the tiny elevator and take it to the 3rd floor, all while towing luggage. Once at the reception desk, the gentleman proceeded to tell us the previous nights couple decided to stay and extra night, therefore they no longer had a room for us. He was nice enough to find a room elsewhere, quite a distance away, but offered his bellboy to drag our luggage there and to also show us the way since Venice is very confusing to get around in.
...
Didn't get to stay at Palazzo Bembo
...
That you have to drag your luggage up several flights of stairs then take a tiny, cramped elevator to another floor.
