 Its position is a strategic one: with a five minutes' walk you can reach not only the beach, but also the vaporetto (boat) stop connecting Lido to St. Mark's Square (fifteen minutes), to the Biennale Gardens (five minutes), or to the Railway Station and the car terminal of Piazzale Roma (approx. forty minutes). A convenient boat connection to/from the Marco Polo airport is also available.

By Train:
Getting off at the train station "Venezia Santa Lucia". Take the Vaporettos (water buses) right in front of the station: Line 1, Line 51 in direction Lido (last stop). You'll arrive in circa 40 minutes.
By Car:
You can choose to leave your car at the Tronchetto ( the central parking place in Venice at the end of the Ponte della Libertà), otherwise you can get to the Lido with the Ferry-Boat (ACTV) witch leaves at the Tronchetto too. On the Lido you can drive with your car and you'll always find a gratis parking place.
By Airplane:
With the line ALILAGUNA you'll get easily from the airport Marco Polo to the Lido in forty minutes. |
