We did not realise we had to pre book a water taxi to the airport. The Receptionist got us a taxi at the very last moment and was very helpful. ... Very nice, comfortable hotel. The breakfasts were lovely. Good position on the Lido. Only one slight disappointment - there was no food available in the evening, ie room service, but not a major problem.

We thoroughly love this hotel. It is the only place we stay, and will continue to stay when visiting Lido. ... We made accommodations for two rooms. The one my husband and I stayed in was very clean and spacious, but the decore of that particular room was a bit lacking in beauty. The walls where plain white with one wall of mirrors. The window treatments and the bed spread did not match. It may sound as if I am quite picky, but being an interior designer I tend to notice the small details of good design. The bathroom was fantastic. Bright red tile and VERY big. The other room where our friends stayed was very beautiful. The walls had fabric on them that co-orindated with the entire rooms bed dressing and window treatments. Still, having said all that, I would still book at this hotel. ... Charming. Quiet. Fun and cozy. A place to relax.

It seems a family managed hotel. The room was clean and the staff very friendly. However, the fare was too expensive in comparison with the level of service offered (maybe because of the period, as my stay took place during the Venice Film Festival, when the Lido is always very crowded, like in high season) It's not that I'm not prepared to spend, because I stayed in the Des Bains Hotel later from 7th to 11th September for the Venice Film Festival, yet the bathroom might have looked more modern. Or take the breakfast, for instance: I had some coffee on a charming terrace, but the coffee wasn't prepared at the moment, I got it from an automatic distributor placed in the breakfast room, and it tastes different, you know... In spite of this, I'm very satisfied of the service offered by WorldBy.com, because it's easy to use, very clear in the details indicated, safe. Moreover, very very rapid and convenient. I certainly would suggest it to my friends, which I'll do.
