• At what time can we check-in and out?
  All accommodations, Check In from 2pm until 9pm, Check Out before 10am Please let us know in advance what time you intend to check in.
• Is the price per room/apartment or per person?
  The price is per room/apartment.
• Is breakfast included in the price and what type of breakfast?
  Ca' Alexander is a B&B and the owner live in the same building. Breakfast consists of bread, hot croissants, butter, jam, yoghurt and orange juice.
• Is heating included in the price?
  Yes, it is.
• Can we settle the bill on arrival?
  Yes, you can.
• Which languages are spoken at the reception?
  We speak Italian, English, French, Spanish, German and Japanese.
• How many floors are there in the building and do you have an elevator (lift) in the building?
  Ca' alexander is at the top of the building (4°floor).
  It is an attic and it is the ideal place for those who want to admire the beautiful panorama of the city. No lift to reach it.
• Are there quiet, private, romantic rooms?
  Yes, it is a very romantic apartment as it enjoys great views. As there are no cars in the city the apartment is very quiet.
• Are linens and towels provided or do I need to bring my own?
  Yes, they are provided.
• Do the rooms/apartments have a terrace/courtyard?
  Ca' Alexander is an apartment with terrace. You can see the basin of S. Marco, the island of S. Giorgio and the church of S. Maria della Salute. It offers splendid views over the city and the main street Via Garibaldi. Private Garden.
• Do the rooms/apartments have a balcony?
  No.
• Do you have non smoking rooms/apartments?
  Yes, we do.
• Is there a TV in the rooms/apartments? Are there international channels (satellite or cable TV)?
  In Ca' Alexander there is Sat/Tv.
• Is there a telephone with direct dialling in the rooms/apartments?
  No, there is no telephone in our apartment.
• Is there air conditioning in the rooms/apartments? Is there any extra charge for this? Is it seasonal?
  Yes, there is air conditioning, seasonal and free of charge.
• Is there a dining room where we could sometimes all dine together?
  In Ca' Alexander B&B you cannot cook you meal, but you can eat something that you have bought in the supermarket in the open space kitchen-dining room (the kitchen is at guests' disposal only for breakfast).
• Do you have an Internet/E-Mail point in the Property?
  No, we do not, but you can find an Internet Point outside, in the main Via Garibaldi.
• Is there a swimming pool? When is it open?
  No, there is not.
• Is parking or garage available?
  No, there is not. You will find a parking at Tronchetto island or Piazzale Roma area.
• Where can we rent a car?
  Marco Polo airport or at Piazzale Roma.
• Which is the nearest airport?
  The nearest Airport is Venice Marco Polo Airport (Tessera).
• Do you have a pickup or shuttle service from and to the airport?
  No, we do not have a private shuttle service but to come from/go to the airport you can take the "Alilaguna" shuttle waterbus at the stop Arsenale; you will reach Marco Polo airport in 50 minutes.
• Which is the nearest railway station?
  The nearest railway station is "Venice S. Lucia". From our apartments you can reach it in 30 minutes by vaporetto.
• Which is the nearest / how far away is / how do we arrive from the Gondula Station?
  The nearest gondula station is at S. Marco. You can reach it in 15 minutes on foot and 5 minutes by vaporetto.
• Which is the nearest / how far away is / how do we arrive from the nearest "Vaporetto" (Public Transport) station?
  The nearest vaporetto stations are "Giardini Biennale" (line n. 82 and N) or "Arsenale" (line n. 1). From Ca' Alexander you can reach the vaporetto stop Giardini Biennale in 5 minutes(no bridges to reach it),and the other stop Arsenale in 6 minutes(two bridges to reach it).
• Which is the nearest / how far away is / how do we arrive from the nearest Water Taxi Speedboats station?
  The nearest water taxi is near Arsenale. Anyway if you need a taxi we can call you one that can stop at Giardini Biennale.
• Is there a fitness center in the Property (Gym, Jacuzzi, Sauna, Turkish bath...)?
  No there is not.
• Are pets welcome?
  Yes, pets are welcome but only small size. No strange exotic animals please!
• Is there a restaurant in the Property?
  No, there is not but in the immediate surroundings there are a lot of restaurants and pizzerias!
• Can I connect my modem so that I can surf the Internet from my room/apartment?
  No, you can not.
