Profile

During the last century, this house belonged to Angelo Scattolin who was a famous Venetian architect, holder of a chair at the University of Venice, professor at the Academy of Fine Arts and Overseer of St. Mark's Church between the 60s and 70s. In his house he put together classic venetian styles which already outlined the characteristics of modern architecture: respect for traditions joined to simple aspects and rationality of layout.

This reflects the light and charm of Venice.
His heirs try to continue this tradition in the layout of the house but at the same time combining it with a service which meets the needs of today's guests.
Some rooms, the living-room and the breakfast-room enjoy a wonderful view overlooking the Grand Canal.
