We stayed for 3 nights in mid-December and wished we could have stayed longer. Fantastic location, excellent breakfasts and our hosts, Giogio and Mateo could not have been more helpful.
Our room, and bathroom was very clean and airy.

Giorgio and Mateo, our hosts, were very helpful, and went out of their way to make sure our stay was very enjoyable, and memorable.

We were a family of three, all adults and our room was very spacious and comfortable. The room and bathroom were the best we had over a 5 week trip and I highly recommend this hotel if you are looking for accomodation in Venice.
I look forward to returning one day and once again staying in Ca' Angeli.

This was a beautiful hotel. The location and facilities were excellent and the staff extremely friendly and helpful. We would definately like to come back again.

The day we checked out there was a transport strike in Venice. The staff were extremely helpful in assisting us to get across the city and to the airport.

Perhaps a map giving directions from the point where the ferry drops us off to walk to the hotel. This was a bit confusing.

We did not anticipate the friendly manner of our hosts. The property is absolutely immaculate. The breakfast was delicious and satisfying. The accommodations were comfortable, clean and exactly as depicted in the photographs on the web.
No one can prepare a visitor to the delight of awakening to a gondolier crooning along the Grand Canal.

Yes, precise directions need to be given to a newcomer. We arrived at midnight by vaporetto. It would be helpful to tell the first time visitor how to locate the 'street' or alley. Streets are labeled much different than the USA. We were lost!
You might want to add...if you go over a bridge, you have gone too far! (we did)

Immaculate, comfortable,friendly, well-located and private. Good value for the high level of accommodations. There is a safe for valuables and a small refrigerator.

Very happy with our stay! Although it was expensive in $AUD, it was on the GRAND CANAL and it was money well spent.Alison and I intend to return for our 25th wedding anniversary.

We arrived early in the day, and Mateo stored our bags for us, gave us a map and showed us where to explore, and made a dinner reservation for us! Very kind.

The staff and other guests were kind and courtious. Mateo and Gorgio know a lot about thier city and every suggestion/recommednation they had was outstanding. I will recommend Ca' Angeli to anyone I know going to Venice.

Our flight was late in the day, and Gorgio stored our bags and recommended a great gelato place! It was great to know our belongings were safe while we explored Venice on our last day.

Ca'Angeli is a great little Inn with a welcoming and helpful staff. It's location, close to the Rialto Bridge but a 15 minute walk away from the main tourist center of Venice, is in my opinion perfect.

A delightfully small quiet, elegant but homely hotel. The rooms are very attractively furnished and equipped,and the lounge has a stunning view of the Grand Canal and all its activity. The owners are most friendly and helpful.
We also loved the location of Ca' Angeli - central enough to walk everywhere, but away from the busiest spots.

A very good location for exploring Venice. Accommodation of a very high standard. Staff very friendly, welcoming, informative and helpful. The lounge with its view over the Grand Canal is a bonus. Highly recommended.

THe best part of the hotel is spending half an hour in the drawing room sitting at the open windows, looking out at the passing scene on thr Grand Canal~ vaporettos, gondolas, rubbish boats, commercial boats,rowing clubs etc

Let guests know they do not take credit cards for payment - only cash or travellers checks. However, they do take a credit card to guarantee the room prior to your arrival.

Finding the hotel is difficult, it would be useful to include a photograph of the front gate in the details.

Extremely clean and welcoming, the view of the Grand Canal from the sitting room was wonderful. The beds were comfortable, the pillows were synthetic, could have done with some feather ones. The breakfasts are first class, freshly squeezed orange juice, breads, cakes, meats, cheeses, yoghurts, fresh fruit etc. The open bowls of jam were wonderful, just a pity one of the guests used the serving spoons to try them, then returned the used spoons to the bowls having licked them clean! Overall, good value for money, in a spotlessly clean hotel.

My wife is allergic to lifts and we did not know that the hotel was on the second floor .
Staff should have informed us that the ground floor was flooded and that we could not leave - before we had walked downstairs !

Overall, we were very pleased with our stay at Ca' Angeli. It would have been helpful to understand exactly how to find the property, which was confusing and difficult from the water taxi drop-off. We eventually found the door, but could not find a way to enter the building. Later, we understood that the door sticks. Once inside, this is an exquisite property and we loved it.

I made a reservation and secured the room with American Express, yet the hotel only took cash, in full payment, to pay the bill at checkout. I do not like carrying such a large amount of euros when every place else accepted credit card. This should be made more clear on the website and when booking as it is an unusual policy for a nice class of hotel

You should make some mention about the liklihood of flooding and that boots are mandatory during the winter. Every hotel guest was stuck in the hotel until 1pm waiting for water to subside as no one came prepared with high boots
