Although difficult to find (everything is difficult to find in Venice) we were warmly welcomed by our hosts and made to feel very comfortable immediately.

The quality and condition of the property is exceptional. The staff were at all times extremely helpful while not being intrusive at all. The property is obviously run very professionally with a warm touch making the stay distinct from a hotel.

The fact that the property is out of the main tourist areas means that it is very quiet and seculded - this is definiately a benifit - yet we were still within 5 minutes walk of everything we wanted.

Absolutely wonderful. We have already recommened Ca' Bonvicini to our frinds and other travelers on their way to Venice. Venice was a definite highlight of our holiday and Ca' Bonvicini made that all the more memorable and relaxing.

We thought the water taxi the hotel had waiting for us at the airport was to take us directly to the hotel. Instead we were met at the grand canal by hotel staff and had to walk to the hotel. The web site did say the taxi would go directly to the hotel.

Sabina, who met us and walked with us back to the hotel was charming and very helpful. She went out of her way to make us feel comfortable through out our stay.

Sabina also walked us back out to the canal for our return trip.

The detail about the water taxi stop should be explained.
Also the Hotel is right across from a University, so there were lots of young people around attending night classes.
There is no public room for breakfast, this only mattered to us becouse we were two couples traveling togeather.
