Very helpfull with luggage. as well as with
directions as Venice is quite a problem with both items

Perhaps a better map of the Location as we got
lost going there.

We were given directions to a meet point, where someone from the hotel came to retrieve us. Considering how confusing Venice can be, this was very accomodating.

The only criticism is that when we opened a window, our air conditioning automatically shut off. We did not know that happened and had to call the front desk to find out why we had no AC. It would have been helpful had we known that from the beginning.
Also, our baggage had been delayed coming from the US. Marco, on the front desk, was exceptional in helping track our luggage once it arrived in Venice and making certain it moved expeditiously from the airport to the hotel.
Finally, my passport had been lost or stolen. He helped us with finding a police station and getting a police report necessary for the reissuing of my passport at the US Consulate office in Milan.

I didn't remember seeing that a private motorized trip to Murano was included in our room rate. That was a pleasant surprise.

Boutique hotel located very close to San Marco Plaza within walking distance of anywhere you want to go. Very quaint with a very attentive staff. I would definitely stay there again.

Had lots of difficulty finding the Hotel. This is very difficult when you are carrying luggage up and down the bridges, etc. Good directions, including which stop on the vaporetta, should be provided to the client.

Regarding quality of the room: It was beautifully decorated and very clean and private. It was just very small. Once you brought luggage into the room, there wasn't much space to turn around. The bathroom was very tiny.

Everything about the service was top rate. My wife and I felt special and this was particularly important as our visit to Venice was for a special occassion in our lives.

There was a strange banging noise in the wasll during the night. It wasn't very loud, but it lasted most of the night. It keep my wife and I awake sometiimes.
