It could not be better!

Very, very nice hotel, the staff make you feel at home and are very helpfull. central location-we walked everywhere!The room was lovely and cosy, very modern bathroom.

Only negative was the fact that the air conditioner unit in our room had a hard time keeping it cool. Being hot in August, our room (the Canaletto room) had too much exposed to the sun or the unit didn't work as well as it should or something. We had to open the windows the second night only to find out later that we had mosquitos coming in. Other than the A/C problem, the room and the hotel were wonderful.

An exceptional hotel -- good location in a quiet area. The breakfast was typical but very tasty -- the breakfast service was extra-ordinary. A great plus to our stay. Front desk service was also very friendly and helpful.

Great position- quiet area - close to Accadamia Bridge to cross Grande Canal. Friendly,very helpful staff. everything very well organised so all in all a great stay!

Nicola at the front desk was very helpful and full of suggestions for our first day in Venice.

A delicious and insightful cup of cappicino was served at the morning breakfast by Monica, a welcome cup of coffee and great conversation.

The front desk man was very accomodating with our luggage, allowing us to leave it so we could tour before our late afternoon departure.

Great location. Everything is close in Venice, but this is a nice quiet street, within walking distance or treghetto ride to anywhere.

This was a very reasonably priced hotel, close to everything, quiet location and a great staff that made our first time in Venice delightful. Definately worth a second stay.

Suddenly from the bustle of the crowds we turned a couple of corners and there we were in a quiet little street with its beautiful little hotel, Locanda Ca' del Brocchi.
We loved our bedroom. It was gorgeously decorated in the Venetian style, had plenty of space, with a little sitting room area. It looked out over a garden and we heard birds singing when we woke up in the mornings.
This is a really lovely place to stay and within walking distance of everything.
Our only complaint would be that the breakfast didn't have as much variety as we have found in other Italian hotels.
Otherwise it was PERFECT!

Due to the location of the hotel, it was difficult to find it -- a better and more detailed map should have been provided.

The hotel far exceeded my expectations. It was a small, exquisite lodging -- extreme attention to comfort, design and detail, which I much appreciated.

I checked out the night before, as I had to make an early boat. Although the person on the desk did not speak English, he was very eager to help.

No negatives at all -- however, they should emphasize how fabulous the bathroom was. Although this is not something I would seek, it was fantastic. Brand new and certainly above average.

I would describe it as an exquisite, romantic hideaway a little off the beaten track.

The hotel is very beautiful but the location is not easy to find. We stopped to ask directions several times and were surprised how many people knew this street and the area we were looking for which was a big help.

We would definitely consider staying at this location again if we should make a return visit. The front desk was very helpful with our request to send an e-mail to our son in the U.S. regarding airline flight information.

A nice quiet location close to all the sights. We wish there would have been more restaurants in the general area, however we are adventurous and enjoyed the walks.

We found the street of the hotel with no problem but the paperwork we had did not have the address so we could not find the hotel except by knocking on doors. The name plate was tiny.

A bit far to schlepp luggage from the water bus stop.

we were told there was a problem with our room and that they would put us up in one of the appartments they had.
Apparently there was a water problem in the room...although the room we had booked would be avaiable from midday the following day....which really led us to believe that perhaps they had double booked instead !!!
The appartment room was absolutely fine - no problems and the room we had booked was lovely....although honety to double booking would have been appreciated!

Breakfast was inadequate...although I read and through experience during our stay at other venues...this tended to be rule rather than the exception within Italy.
Cereal, fruit, fresh brioche is what I would have expected, rather than packet brioche, no fruit or cereal.

It is in a fantastic location and is very quiet...this is wonderful.
It is very close to the Peggy Guggenheim - this should be mentioned.

Absolutely fine...and in the quieter end of Venice, which is perfect.
A small and welcoming hotel, but make sure your have a second breakfast !

Receptionist did not speak English and there was confusion over accomadations for 2 groups that arrived together.

The numbering system for addresses is unclear and no one in the area seemed to know the location of the hotel. We walked around for a while before finding it with the help of someone on the street. If the hotel had a sign that was visible from the street it would help a great deal.

The room was very nice and very clean. The size of the room, however, was disappointing and it was a challenge just getting around the bed and our luggage.

The staff spoke limited English, but were very friendly and accommodating. The hotel is off the beaten path but in a nice location. The neighborhood was quiet and pleasant and you were close to one of the vapporetto stops. Breakfast was rather limited but OK. We found it a good value for Venice.

We were told that the room would be available from 12 noon, but when we arrived at 2pm it was till not availabble. We were told to go away and come back in half an hour.

We understood that we would be staying in the hotel in a room woth a jacuzzi bath. Howver when we arrived we were told we were staying in a separate apartment, some distance from the main hotel. This meant moving heavy bags again and was not what we had expected. We had to go back to the main building for breakfast and check out. I was very disaponted with this.

People shoud be aware that they might not be staying in the main hotel and that the alternative is some distance away.

We were expecting a double room in the hotel. Instead, we walked a few blocks away and stayed in a two bedroom apartment. It was very nice but not what we wanted for just one night. There were no garbage cans, no shower curtain, no alarm clock and the TV had no English channels.
