Because of maintenance work the vaperetto did not stop at our stop. This led to confusion as to where the B&B was. A good map should be emailed before I departed so that I knew the destination. ... A menu should be provided so that guests know what breakfast consists of. Water for tea should be boiling not lukewarm. Two sets of keys should be provided for gusets in a room for 4 adults. However, I realy enjoyed my stay at the Ca' del Pozzo and I would recommend it to my friends
... Checking out was as expected, It was nice that we could leave our luggage and collect it later in the day. ... A detailed map of how to get to Ca' del Pozzo. A menu for breakfast. the airconditioning unit was noisey. It's 6 flights of steps to the B&B people with bad health should be told about this in advance ... Excellent location. 5 minutes walk from St. Marks square. Extremly clean and a spacious room for four adults. Stairs can be a long haul with luggage.

We had a wonderful experience in Venice and enjoyed our 2 apartments. I would recommend this to my friends who are coming to Italy next year. Our accomodations were wonderfully clean and comfortable. ... Excellant location. Enabled us to visit all of the sites we wished to see. It was quite easy to use the vaporetto at the Rialto Bridge. Quiet enough so that we could rest and the grocery store was very convenient. Also we appreciated being so close to the internet store. ... Great location within easy walk to most of the things we wanted to see. The grocery was just around the corner which enabled us to use our kitchen for breakfast and lunch. Easy walking distance to the Rialto Bridge--vaporetto.

We really wnjoyed our stay at this hotel and have already recommeded it to a number of our friends. We were given a phone number so that we could be met from the boat, but this didn;t get us through. This meant that we didn't have any directions or address and so it was a bit difficult to find them! However, once we were there it was excellent. It was especially helpful that we were able to leave our luggage there on our last day so that we could make the most of our time in Venice. Many thanks to you all. Margot Williams ... See above. ... See above. ... Very spacious room - very comfortable and easy to be in. It took a while for us to discover the fridge!! It would be great to have the facilities for making drinks in the room anything of this sort is only available at breakfast time.

Unfortunately I did not have the phone number to the B&B to call on our arrival. We took the boat from the train station to the Accademia stop and were able to find the proximity of the B&B. However, we were unable to locate the B&B for several minutes. A kind resident of Venice was able to assist us.
Our stay was very enjoyable and the room was spacious, quiet and clean. I will, without a doubt, recommend it to my family and friends.
Eleanor ... Very spacious, quiet and clean. Centrally located with good restaurants, cafes and pastry shops right around the corner.

Most enjoyable and relaxing accommodation in a self contained and private apartment with courtyard. ... A very clean, private and pleasant place to stay with all mod cons and a fridge stocked with essentials on arrival and a full cooker + oven!!!. Six/seven minutes walk from St Marks----altogether a most enjoyable experience.

The entrance to the building needs some work done on it as it is a little bit scruffy ... The only minor complaint was the fact that breakfast has to be taken at 08<30 in the morning exactly and on some days we would have liked to have it a little bit later ... Very central to all the facilities. very cosy. clean and the staff were all very helpfull

THE SATFF WAS EXTREMELY HELPFULL! WE GOT TO VENICE VERY LATE AND THEY WERE WAITING FOR US. THEY WERE ALWAYS SENDING MAILS TO BE READY FOR OUR ARRIVAL. EXCELLENT! ... WE LOVED THE B&B, BUT MAYBE IT WOULD BE A GOOD IDEA IF FOR EXAMPLE YOU GIVE DEATILS SUCH AS THE STAIRS THAT YOU HAVE TO GO UP IN ORDER TO REACH THE ROOM. WE HAD HEAVY SUITCASES AND THIS WAS KIND OF UNCOMFORTABLE! THANKS! ... THE STAIRCASE TO THE ROOMS! VERY IMPORTANT TO MENTION NEXT TIME IN ORDER TO ORGANIZE THE SUITCASES MAYBE AT THE TAIN STATION! ... VERY NICE AND COMFORTABLE. THE STAFF COULDN'T HAVE BEEN BETTER!

This was a flat not listed on the website and recently under ownership. Hence, we were a little unsure exactly what we were getting. As we arrived into the rooms, while they were spacious and quiet, there was quite a bit of mold in the bathrooms and the rooms could have been cleaned better. Also, the term air conditioning should be better stated as portable room air conditioners. ... These flats were not listed on the website, but were available once we contacted Ca'del Pozzo. The one item I would change would be air conditioning --> portable room air conditioning. ... This was a centrally located, spacious apartment in downtown Venice. A small grocery store was located just around the corner and the opportunity to cook your own meals in the apartment was wonderful. However, the portable air conditioning did little to cool to rooms and actually created a mess when water leaked onto the floor. Of primary concern, however, was the mold in the bathrooms.

Breakfast was served exactly on time (8:30), on a tray at the bedroom door, but we had no choice about the time! Not a great breakfast. ... OK, fairly basic, a LONG way up with your baggage. Very handily placed near the Accademia Bridge.

It got very noisy in our room on a couple of occasions -- once very late at night while we were trying to sleep. The building faces a very narrow alley and any sounds in the alley (people walking or talking) echoed up to our room. Closing the windows did not shut out the noise.
Also, the entrance to the building was supposedly under construction (though we never saw any construction or workers). It smelled bad and had wooden boards over torn up concrete and exposed pipes. Not a very welcoming sight, but the hotel itself was in good condition.
... The hotel is up 5 flights of stairs, no elevator. The entrance to the building is in an alley that sometimes smells bad. ... The hotel is a converted apartment. The rooms and furnishings are very nice, but it doesn't exactly feel like a hotel because there is no front desk and only a tiny sitting area that serves as lobby. If your window faces the alley, be aware that it can get noisy.

Personal directions from the owner- he was at the boat station to meet us late in the evening as we would not have found the B&B on our own.He was extremely helpful. ... We were very happy with the accomodation & would return to stay again. ... No staff on site so we had to wait for the member of staff to come. That was not a problem & she was happy for us to leave our baggage after check out so that we could look around Venice again before leaving. ... Very clean, central location, helpful staff, well priced especially for a family.

Our booking was changed to an apartment which theoretically was a better bet, but there was no hot water( it was fixed the next day), the toilet seat was loose and about to fall of the pan. I also feel that a self catering establishment wooing an international market should have a kettle and toaster.Otherwise everything was fine. ... no ... Adequate.

The owner came to pick we up at the boat stop.It was not far from there. It was good start! ... Clean and enough space. ... CHeck out was smooth cause we had to pay when we arrived. After check out, we could leave our luggage until when we leave Venice. It was so convenient. ... I think you should mention that the floor is on third, and we have to clime lots of stairs without any help. I do not recommend this B&B to elderly people and someone who has problem with his leg. ... The room was clean and good size. THe place was relatively quite. Though our room had no view, there are some rooms with a view. I recommend keep these rooms to stay.Breakfast is better than nothing. They changed bread everyday. That's good idea! But on second day, the quantity was smaller than first day (why?) The most serious problem was about shower! The water quantity from shower was very very little like a line, so it took more than half hour to wash my hair.It was nightmare that we needed to stand under the showerhead such a long time after long day! The water from basen was normal, but no hot water. The landlady told that it was a problem of the building. But if so, why much water come out from basen? They should have some mentenance. OR is that for cost saving? If you have energy to bear the long stairs and the water problem, you will have relatively good stay at this hotel. Maybe I would not stay there again.

This is a VERY tough B&B to find--not their fault, of course: venice's. We did as told and phoned ahead to be met at the pier. No one showed up. In general, the staff was too busy getting their new B&B running to pay us much attention. ... The B&B is in a wonderful part of Venice and is very nice inside (the entrance was being worked on when we were there). One thing you should definitely say is that it's VERY high up--the equivalent of four floors or more--and there's no elevator; old people and people with lots of luggage should go elsewhere. ... Nicely decorated, big rooms, comfortable, fine bathrooms, great location, decent breakfast, little support from the staff.

The rooms are very big, but on level 4. With kids or older people a problem. But location is great! But very hard to find the way, but Venice in general is. ... See my comments arrival experience.
