The hotel San Cassiano Ca' Favretto is an exquisite little 14th Century palace on the edge of the Grand Canal, once residence of some of the most important venetian families. The name "Ca' Favretto" was given to the building at the end of XIX century, after Giacomo Favretto, one of the most representative venetian modern painters, worked and lived there. |
Now, it's the only palace in Venice declared "Residenza d'Epoca". Situated in a quiet area where you can enjoy the real Venice off the main tourist tracks, the hotel is still only a short stroll from the Rialto Bridge. |
Its wonderful position on the Grand Canal, in front of the most famous "Ca' d'Oro", gives our guests the opportunity to see the life of the main "water-street" of Venice, even sitting on our private terrace, sipping their favourite drink. |
