Cą Furlan, whose name derives from the calle dei Furlani, is situated in front of the church of the Horseman of Malta, a church known as S. Giovanni dei Furlani in dialect but really called S. Giovanni Battista. Cą Furlan was built on top of a 15th century old horse stable, indeed designed for the shelter and feeding of the horses of Malta. |
Still today, across the street, in the interior of the church of S. Giovanni Battista, one can admire the evocative cloister surrounded by the various coats of arms sculpted by the Horsemen of Malta leaving an indelible mark. Cą Furlan is conveniently located exactly two minutes walking distance from the legendary Piazza San Marco, with its nearby water transportation accessing both islands and mainland. |
Cą Furlan is just steps away from the most popular tourist sites and attractions through characteristic calli and campielli carefully studied by us to offer you the maximum comfort during your visit in the most beautiful and romantic city in the world: Venice. Cą Furlan today is a small, cosy hotel whose lavish marvel flooring and beautifully designed rooms let us relive the period when Venice was the powerful and wealthy "most serene" republic. |
