The lovely young woman at the front desk was just as previous reviewers described. Her english was perfect and she was very cheerful and helpful. We were able to check in early which was wonderful.

Great location and wonderful hotel. I would highly recommend it. It is SO easy to get lost in Venice and it was wonderful to have nice accomodations that were easy to find. We only stayed for a brief visit and took a light suitcase with the remainder of our luggage checked at the train station as the stairs at the hotel are quite steep and there are a number of them! Thanks to the previous guests who mentioned them...

The e-mail we received from Elisa a few days prior to arriving gave us excellent directions that were fool proof !

The only slight disappointment was the food at breakfast time, the bread was slightly stale and the toaster for warming the croissants worked intermittently.

Absolutely PRIME location and very close to Vaparetto stop, yet just on a back street so quiet after dark, Room beautifully decorated with very impressive shower, food at breakfast time was the only negative. Recommended !!

Perfect location, very friendly staff (especial Elisa), good breakfast for Italien proportion (a lot kind of coffee, tea and milk, croissants, biscuit, some kind of juice, some kind of jam, cheese, yogurt), very nice terrace (reached through a small window), we will come back !!!

We were extremely happy with the accommodation on all levels. It was particularly pleasant speaking with Elise during our visit and she helped to sort out a theatre/opera visit and shared her knowledge of Venezia with us. She was also quite cheerful and friendly! The accommodation was always very clean and we didn't need to ask for anything - it was all There! We thoroughly enjoyed Venezia! The situation of the accommodation is also a superb one!

This place is fabulous! I was given the room on the top floor and I had my own terrace which was a big surprise. This is the cleanest place I have every stayed in. the room was nicely furnished and everything was new and in perfect condition. Elisa gave me a warm welcome and the staff was always pleasant and helpful, offering excellent restauarant recommendations. The breakfast was more than adequate (cake, bread, rolls, cereal, yogurt, juice, variety of teas and coffees)and I loved the coffee in the coffee machine! The location couldn't have been easier to find, or closer to the vaporetto. Also good location in terms of being near restaurants, sites, supermarket etc. The bed was very comfortable and the room was quiet at night. Ca' Leon D'oro is an excellent value -- really a bargain and I have already recommended it to friends.

The staff was very helpful and friendly. We asked him about getting to the airport and when we got back from dinner that night, the reception desk was closed but he had written down the bus schedule for us and left it in our room.

I felt like this was the cleanest place we had stayed in. Our room was very comfortable and attractive. We had to leave too early to have breakfast but the breakfast room looked nice, too. We will stay at this hotel on our next trip.

The room was aliitle small but clean and nicely layed out with a small fridge and Television. (Unfortunately none of the channels were in English - would have been nice).
The Staff were extremely Helpful and put us in the right direction for a good meal on the first night.

We had to leave early to catch the vaporetto, due to a strike, the young lady left the door to their eating area open so we could have a breakfast, that was so kind. I would recommed Ca' Leon D'Oro to anyone.

If I were you, I would add another detail to the exact location. Showing that you are located under the Trattorai Sign down the walkway. You might take a picture of the sign that protrudes from the walkway.

This is a realy nice accomodation, very centrally located. We had a good time, but yes there are some stairs to climb, so it might not be appropriate for some people

It was a great location, and the staff were both friendly and helpful.
The only thing that could be improved is the choice at breakfast. It was the same the whole week and quite basic. Also, it would have been helpful if there was literature in the hotel about the city and events happening or places/restaurants to go to.

It is a help that the hotel keeps the luggage once you check out, until you are ready to leave for the airport. Check out time was quite early

This is a good hotel in a fabulous location. You walk out the door and find yourself on the Rialto Bridge. A few drawbacks were no elevator and no perks of a large hotel (ie. internet access and having a concierge). There is noone at the front desk after 8pm. They give you keys to get in the front door after this time which makes it feel like a home, but it would have been nice to know someone was there all the time.

It is very clean and quaint situated at the end of the Rialto Bridge. It felt like a home not a hotel.

They (the commune) need to clean up the lane (small road) outside the hotel entrance ,as it let down the hotel's exterior .The hotel was very central and we hope to use it again.We have already passed on their address to friends.

on our arrival I was dismayed to see that there were probably 30 steps to be climbed to get to the reception area and more to get to the room. I do not think the no. of stairs were mentioned in the website .. the worst part was that there is nobody there to get the bags up to the room. Very disappointing. The room was nice but would not stay there again due to 'no-lift'
