Absolutely fantastic hotel. Would really recommend it to anyone visiting Venice. Location was perfect, room was lovely and clean and breakfast was excellent. Very impreessed with this hotel.

Casa della Corte was surprisingly easy to find, even from Rialto bridge. The woman who greeted me and checked me into my room was very friendly and helped me carry my suitcases upstairs. The proprietor finished checking me in and was so friendly and accomodating. She asked what time I would like my breakfast delivered and provided me with a map of Venice and even let me borrow her personal copy of a Venice travel/map book.

Accomodations at Casa della Corte were much better than I expected based on picutres on the website. The interior space appeared to be completely renovated with new tile, fixtures, and linens. My room and shared spaces, including the shared bathrooms were spotless! This was by far the nicest accomodation I stayed in during my two week trip in Europe (Barcelona, Munich, Venice, Brussels). As a single female traveller, I felt very safe here, with one exterior and two interior locking doors. It was a great deal for 85 Euro and I would recommend it to anyone!

I feel this was a great value for the money. The proprietor encouraged me to pay in cash, but I had planned on paying by credit card and was unable to access funds by ATM, so credit was my only option. I could tell she wasn't too enthusiastic about this because her credit card machine had just ran out of paper, but she obliged and I was able to pay by credit.

I do not think the website photos do Casa della Corte justice, the accomodations were much nicer than I expected. I think the renovations, cleanliness, and privacy of this bed and breakfast should be emphasized, as well as personalized, friendly service.

Casa della Corte is one of Venice's best kept secrets! I would recommend Casa della Corte to anyone wishing to stay in Venice and am fortunate that Daniel at Veniceby.com recommended this bed and breakfast to me. Facilities have been recently renovated and private and shared spaces were clean and spotless. This bed and breakfast was located in a secure, cozy courtyard, but is just minutes from the excitement of Piazza San Marco and Rialto. I felt very safe here and would particularly recommend this bed and breakfast to other solo and/or female travellers. The proprietor and her staff are extremely warm, friendly, and helpful and go above and beyond to provide guests with a positive experience. Casa della Corte was by far my favorite accomodation during on my two week trip to Europe. If and when I return to Venice, I will definitely stay at Casa della Corte.

I guess we were looking for a hotel entrance ... where it is really the entrance of an apartment. No one seemed to know the name so asking did not help much. Finally when we worked out that the numbers were important in the address did we manage to locate the place.

We loved the place. We did not realise initially that the bathroom was not en suite and shared - but because it was quite it did not bother us at all. It was pristinely clean and the best breakfast that we had in all of Italy.

To certain friends I would highly recommend ... others who are more fussy, they would require their own personal bathroom. But we loved it. And it was good value for money for Venice (even when converting to the horrid SA Rand)

The streets of Venice are confusing! Much clearer directions, preferably with a clear map, would have been useful, as we, like most tourists, arrived pulling heavy bags and would have been happy to know where we were going!

The room was clean and well furnished. The bathroom was across the hall, which was not a problem since there were no other visitors on our floor, but night have been if there had been other visitors. The second night of our stay there were other visitors, on the floor above us, and we could hear every word they spoke, every step they walked, and their snoring at night!!

The cost of this accomodation was far higher than any other we stayed in, which I imagine is reflective of prices in Venice in general, not of this accomodation in particular.

Very clean, good location. Very private when empty, less so when fully occupied! Breakfast was coffee, syrupy orange drink, jam filled croisants with more butter or jam, and melba toast.
Expensive, but that's Venice!

We did have some difficulty finding the address and we needed to ask for directions. The location was on a quite street, tucked away in a modest courtyard.

The young lady that greeted us was both welcoming & delightful. She did not speak English, but we managed to communicate enough to understand each other. We were escorted to another location outside the courtyard on the next street over, which was not pictured on the site.

The second location, not pictured on the web site, is outside the courtyard, and one street over. It is new, clean and attractive, but small and up three flights of stairs to the top floor.

The room was small but clean and very pleasant. The building appears to be fairly recently updated, with a new bathroom. The breakfast compared to others we had was very good and was brought to our room each morning. The family went out of their were to ensure we were comfortable. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend Casa della Corte to others.

The owner met with us at the boat stop to take us to the hotel and helped us with our luggage. It was a very warm welcome to us.

The hotel is only a few minutes from St. Mark's Square and shopping streets. Yet it's in a very quiet square. The location only is worth the stay. We wouldn't have enjoyed the wonderful evenings at St. Mark's if we stayed away from it. Our room on the top floor is actually an apartment with a balcony. Breakfast was brought to our room. We often had it on the balcony. It was fun watching passers-by from the top while we enjoyed the delicious breakfast.

The directions could of been a bit clearer but I think that's down to Venice being a maze of small streets, in which it is very easy to get lost!

We were very impressed by our room (there were 3 of us staying). It was much better then we expected it to be and my friends and I were very pleased! We were expecting a large room with an ensuite. Instead, we were given a flat! A lounge/dining room, large bedroom, seperate bathroom and our own balcony! Considering that this was 5 minutes away from St. Mark's Square, we were very impressed!
The breakfast wasn't anything special, but we didn't stay there for that.

They were very kind and let us keep our bags in the room until we had to leave to catch our flight. I think that this was due to the fact that no-one was staying in the room after us. Either way, it was really helpful and meant that we didn't have to carry our heavy bags through Venice during the day.

The entrance to Casa della Corte is rather hidden. When you turn into the courtyard, you'll see a big hotel in the far right corner. Instead of heading that way, turn immediately to the left and go to the left corner. You'll see a tiny sign and buzzer by the door. It does smell a bit (of possibly Venetian water, I think) once you're inside, but you don't notice it at all once you're past the doorway.

An excellent hotel, close to St. Mark's Square. I can't comment on the smaller rooms, but if you want a triple room, then it's an absolute bargain!

We actually arrived more than an hour later than planned as we got lost and had trouble locating the B&B, however, the girl working in the office stayed later until we arrived.

We had to try two baby cots as it was impossible to sleep in the first one. The bottom of the bed was missing.

Better directions from the boat dock. 'After getting off the boat, go LEFT, and look up at the first 'street' for the road sign.' That would have saved us a lot of time hauling our luggage thru high tide in San Marco Square.

No lifts. Room could be up 45 steps. Ensuite bathroom so small you cannot open the door all the way - the sink is in the way. And the bidet is in the way of opening up the shower door.

There were robes provided for the bathroom, which was down the hall. Breakfast was large and delivered to the room. The coffee was very good.
