Attractive spacious room in old family home, located very conveniently between the Accademia and Zattere waterbus stops. Very quiet peaceful location on small canal and opposite excellent local restaurant

It was very personal like meeting a member of the family. ... It was even more personal as I expected it to be which I estimated a lot. We had all the freeedom we needed and on the other hand we got all the help and information required. ... We got all the information we needed to find our way to station. ... very friendly admosphere and helpful people. ... A private accomodation where you get the chance to meet local people, talk to them about everything and you always feel very warmly welcome. It gives you a chance to see how people in Venice live and you feel like being home while you are there. I prefer it very much to a hotel.

No reception area, but clear directions were made about how to get in and find our host. ... Adequate accomodation, very clean and spacious. Nothing fancy, but very nice. ... Venice is an expensive place to stay and relatively speaking, I believe this was good value for money in Venice, but not in other parts of the world. Venice is just extremely expensive. ... Sara was extremely helpful and went out of her way to make our stay special. ... Homey, nothing fancy, but very gracious and accomodating host.

We enjoyed our stay at venice. The hosts were kind and friendly. The disadvantages of the accommodation were 1. access- Difficult to reach the place with Carrying heavy luggage and a child 2. The online accommodation facilties mentioned airconditioned room, but there was no airconditioning

the street has two names one on either end so this made it difficult to find - and instructions from contact were hard to follow when we phoned.
the double room we sought was tiny for 2 people - we expected a spacious room - but we managed however it did not mention that we would have a third floor room without a lift. carrying luggatge up three floors is not easy our booking was well in advcne so there was plenty of time to explore this ... the room was very clean but not user friendly for people with limited mobility being three floor s up and then when inside all split level internally - bedroom was on one level then the hand basin on the next level up, the toilet up another step and then a third step to the shower may be not the best value for money given all the stpes w/o notice has a hairdryer which was an additional items not expected ... no lift for luggage our room oin top floor was split level internally very difficult for older people lacking good mobility ... adequate and well located once you found it, close to our favourite restaurant- probably would not return.

The key was left at the next door house. The person who handled the key to us was extremely unfriendly. ... The room was clean but very small. ... The room and the bed size were very small. When I brought that to the manager's attention we have received a discount on the price. ... n/a ... In general, the place was not too bad. The only concern we had - it seems like even though it was two of us and we booked it two months in advance, we had got a room designed for a single person (or, maybe, newlywed couple :) )
