Arrival was simple and quick! Literally stepped into Villa, signed for room, dropped off luggage and was out and into town within 5 minutes! Extremely pleasant and polite people. Offered to help with all travel tickets around Venice as soon as we arrived.

BEST VILLA EVER!! Situated perfectly and absolutely gorgeous. If you need to make and impression to someone its perfect. The pricing is superb and the breakfast provided was of top quality. Rooms are lush and the staff are tremendous. Would be extremely difficult to do better in the whole region!

On checking out we received a discount (I assume that was because it was our first stay). Would definately recommend this to anyone!!

It is beautiful, clean, the people very friendly. The only think is there is no internet for the public. It will be nice if they have a computer for the people to check the emails.

I was very satisfied with the hotel, it was conveniently located, the room clean and well kept and the staff we had dealings with were most attentive.
Should we return to Venice, I would certainly consider staying at the Villa Casanova again and would have no hesitation in recommending it to other people.

Receptionist carried my heavy bag up the stairs for me as there was no lift very helpful as I would have struggled on my own.

Lovely place within in easy reach of Venice, I would recommend it to anyone and if I travel to Venice again, I would stay at the Villa Casanova. I would also recommend anyone to stay on Lido as it is much cheaper than staying in Venice and you avoid the busy crowds.

Everything was very accurate but I think that it may be a very good idea to give much more information on how easy it is to travel from Lido to venice. I was slightly concerned about what difficulties may arise from travelling to an from Lido to Venice but it was very easy and very prompt and we did not experience any problems with the public transport and never had to wait longer than about 5 minutes for a waterbus any time of the day.

It was dark when we arrived and the directions were poor. It would be much more useful if you were to publish a map similar to the one which was given to us on arrival, which was excellent but a little too late.

It was a very pleasant family run hotel. The staff and proprietor were extremely helpful and friendly which made our stay all the more enjoyable. I would recommend this small hotel to anyone without the slightest hesitation.

The only thing that we would have liked is beach towels for all members of the family. They could only provide us with two which we managed with but being so close to the ocean I'm sure other guest would find this helpful.

We checked out after breakfast but continued to tour Venice. We were suprised when we returned to the hotel that there were no bathroom facilities to use. What do the people that work there use?

We arrived by car and left it at the parking garage in Venice. The vaporetto attendants were not very good at explaining which boats to use. It would have been helpful to know that we should switch at Ple Rome for a quich boat (?52) to the Lido. It was a bit uncomfortable with all our luggage taking the #1 down the Grand Canal.

Of the 7 hotels we stayed in during our trip to Italy this was our favorite. We loved the quiet location, ease to Venice, and found the breakfast garden the perfect way to start the day. We only wish we had time to stay longer.

A map of Lido with street names and the location of Villa Casanova relative to the Vaporetto Stop would be very helpful. We had no idea where to go once we got off the Vaporetto!

There should be clearer directions for driving - especially regarding the ferry that you have to take to Lido.

All the instructions to locate the villa were accurate -only had to ask one person for the general direction. The Villa was welcoming and the receptionist pleasant and welcoming.

It was a lovely short visit to Venice. The Villa was well furnished, clean and warm - what else would a person want? The coffee at breakfast was delicious, haven't been able to make it the same back here in the UK!
I have recommended it to a number of friends and family.

the bedroom was disappointing in terms of space and that I had asked for twin bedded room overlooking the garden which you pay extra for I did not receive this nor the free bottle of wine promised on the voucher. The second bed was a childs bed for an adult!
