The Hotel was initially hard to find although thats no fault of yours. An elderly local led us to it. The manager was expecting us. We arrived at about 11am and our room wasn't ready so we had to go and find a place to shelter until about 1am, a little inconvienient as we were a bit tired form our journey and the weather was very cold.
However, this was not a major problem as i gave us a chance to explore the area.

Can't complain, i would and already have reccommemd Casa Pisani Canal to anyone looking to stay in venice near St Marks Sq on a budget. Very good value for money.

Our flight was not leaving until 10:30pm but they let us keep our luggage there until we left for the airport at 5pm which was very helpfull as we would of had to carry them around all day.

The hotel is in an excellent location, with very elegent rooms, immaculate bathroom, loved the shower jacuzzi, friendly & helpful staff who spoke good english. Very good value for money.

there are steep and nerrow steps with no alavatour. it was very hard for us with the laguge

The manager walked outside to welcome us in, I think he could tell we weren't sure we were at the correct address. We were very pleased by our reception and by the accommodations.

Everyone on the staff were extremely helpful and accommodating. Taufique Chowdurhi was kind to give us detailed directions for local restaurants, even offering to escort us himself.

The young lady (can't recall her name) checked us out speedily so we could make our train departure and she offered us informative information on which water bus to take to get us to the station the quickest.

All the amentities that were listed on your site were offered - very good coverage. We were however under the impression that our room had 2 balconies you could walk out onto, we did in fact have 2 balconies but they were just glorified windows. Still the views were superb.

I would highly recommend it for location, accommodations and value. I give it 4 stars.

The accomodations were just as stated, very nice. The receptionist was extremely helpful in directing us through Venice. We were very pleased with our stay at Casa Pisani Canal and would do so again.

The distance of the hotel was a little further than we had expected, but it was also nice to be away from the crowds.

The hotel is only 200 metres from the main Venice Hospital which is sign posted on many corners - perhaps this could be used as a guide to finding the hotel

We made the mistake of taking the waterbus from the airport instead of catching the bus to piazza Roma. Once we found the Rialto Bridge the directions were ok.

The accomodation was compact but very quiet, comfertable and spotlessly clean. The only shortcomming was a lack of tea and coffee making facilities which would have been most welcome after a day roaming arround Venice. Glasses in the room would have been nice too.

The young girl who checked us out was most polite and very kindly arranged for us to leave our luggage at reception until 13:00 when we left for the airport. This allowed us to do some last minute shopping unencumbered.

It should be made clearer that Casa Pisani is actually an annex to the main hotel, which is a couple of miles away, and as such is only staffed at breakfast time. Patrons arriving at any other time may have to phone the maun hotel and wait for someone to come and let them in.

Excellent value and a pleasure to stay at but make sure your mobile has international roaming enabled, take glasses and don't forget the corkscrew.
We can't wait to visit again!

Staff kindly allowed us to leave bags at reception during the day as we had a late flight; very helpful, considering we were leaving on 23dec and they wanted to close for christmas

I think it's worth mentioning that there is a computer with free internet access in the breakfast room.

Only problem we faced was having to wait while the receptionist came from another property to let us into the hotel. Unfortunately it was raining quite heavily at the time and we were waiting in the street.

Rooms were quite lovely. Bathrooms were disappointing in that they were extremely small (which wasn't clear from the web site pictures)

Altogether a delightful,small hotel for the independent traveller who does not require 24 hour service. It was like staying in a private home with unobtrusive service and was perfectly located to tour Venice. An excellent discovery!

Better directions. It took us 1.5 hours of walking before we found it. For a first-time visitor, Venice is difficult to navigate anyway.
Our room was upgraded at no additional charge. It was very elegant and nice. I would recommend this hotel to a friend.

You should include instructions on how to check in since there is no one there to check people in and only a phone number to call, which is extremely inconvenient if you do not have a handy.

Not very convenient because the payment had to be made at a different property and our check-out time was 6:15am. We called in to the other hotel to pay the evening before departure, but the receptionist couldn't take payment there. A staff member came to our hotel late the evening before departure and accepted payment then.

How hard it is to find should be 'flagged' and how samll the accommodation sign is - we passed it several times without noticing
The 'continental' style breakfast - don't expect too much
The fact that there is not a 'permanent' reception facility

For us it would have been unsatisfactory if the person at Locanda Canal had not been available to guide us to the Pisani Canal.

1. Where there are two people staying in the same room there should be two sets of keys.
2. There was no hot water for 1-2? hours one evening. For 150 euros/night that is not satisfactory.

The staff were very helpful. My wife and I were very pleased with quality of our room and cleanliness.
The breakfast provided was good (yogurt, milk+ cereal, canned fruit, breads, juices and fresh coffee)

We checked out around 5am and the night clerk was not as well prepared as the day-time staff, who were excellent. However, he was still curtious, friendly and tried to be as helpful as possible. I think he may have simply been new to the job and/or his english was not as proficient as the daytime staff, whose english was great.

As avigation through the Venetian streets is complicated and heavy with the luggages a route map should be sent to the passanger to help him/her to find the destination.

The hotel was very hard to find at first. It also caught us by suprise that there wasn't actually going to be a person there on sight at all times.

The rooms were very clean. My room seemed to smell a little like smoke, perhaps it use to be a smoking room cause you could still smell it lingering. Also my hair dryer only blew cold air, luckly we had some people traveling with us in the next room and I was able to use theirs. The location made our stay there very peaceful and very quite. I loved the venetian style decor and thought that the overall stay was good.

Maybe note that their sister hotel controls that property, and that there is no full time staff avaliable on sight.
