Great location. Very clean, quiet and spacious. I would recommend Residenza Castello to anyone.

Our arrival was greated by a happy face, her name was Rita, she carried my case up the stairs for me, which was greatly appreciated.

My Sister and I had a brilliant time at the apartment, it was always clean and tidy. Alessio and Rita very friendly. Enjoyed the continental breakfast, fresh croissants yougurts and juice, crackers toast and jams, and the choice of beverages.

Owner went out of his way to find us another flat when we decided to extend our stay and Residenza Castello was no longer available

Because of its position on a very narrow street, it is inevitably very dark indoors most of the time, but the decor internally did its best to make up for this.

Very comfortable, and ideally suited for exploring Venice -within easy walking distance of many of the main attractions.

The unit was very clean, and spacious. The only drawback was that one bedroom didnt have A/C.

Very centrally located and ideal for those who intend to visit Venice. The approximity to Plaza San Marco is a definite plus!

the place is a one bedroom apartment so it is especially good if you are going to stay a few days. Apartment is very nice but do not expect a view.

Very pleased with the condition and cleanliness of the apartment. We were on the top floor and the shower was just adequate and may have been difficult for an older person. However the roof terrace was very good with a view over the rooftops.

Clean and spacious apartment on the top floor. Stairs may not be suitable for everyone but worth the climb. Milk, cereal, tea, and coffee provided. Convenient location but make sure luggage is easily carried.

From the water taxi, I think it is easier to get to the apt. from Rialto Bridge than from San Marco stop because you don't have to cross San Marco square, which can be very crowded with people.

Very clean and comfortable accomodation, on arrival there was milk, orange etc in the fridge, there were various beaverages for hot drinks. Everthing you would need was placed in the bathroom, even slippers. I would happily recommend your accomodation. The location was so central we were able to visit all the main tourist sights.

When we booked we expected a twin room with an en suite, but we got a two bed appartment which was great.

A bit surprising: The breakfast is no real breakfast (I wouldn't call it that). It is great to have things in the appartment and prepare it for youself, but if you are honest: Instant coffe is not exactly the great italian way, as are dry biscotte.
This service should not be called breakfast, although it is better than having nothing in the flat.
It would be fine to just rent out the flat without this service or else with 'real' coffee and croissants. But it is nothing I found really distrubing, just not so nice. You end up drinking maybe a tea, which is nice and then goung out for real breakfast.

We liked the appartment very much, it was very comfortable and newly decorated. There was one thing though: The appartments on the first floor (we were in) are VERY loud. There is a bar/restaurant directly under the flat and you hear every song they play and every word they speak. This should be stated before. For me, there was no sleep before 1 or 2 in the night, which was miserable because I am pregnant and had a cold. People that do not care so much about noise will not be disturbed, but everyone else will.

Wonderful and great appartment to live in, very central and convenient. But book the one on the first floor only if you do absolutely not care about noise. Try to ask for the flats on the second floor and hopefully that works better. Otherwise this is a great place.

I phoned ahead to arrange my time of arrival to ensure someone was there to meet me.I arrived about an hour early but after phoning they arranged for someone to come within five minutes.

We were initially wanting a hotel but none were available in our price range but we are very pleased that we stayed here as it gave us the space and privacy that a hotel wouldn't have done.

Great position for sightseeing, restaurants, shops and supermarket. Very clean with plenty of linen (although one sheet had hole in it!) and kitchen items. Good to have breakfast provided but would have been great to receive fresh bread every morning - we went out to a shop which was nearby to get it anyway. Good to have TV provided but as it was mostly in Italian a DVD player could have been useful - we bought DVDs in airport in hopes of one! Would definitely recommend it to a friend!
