this was a wonderfull little hotel, very clean and comfortable. i wouldnt hesitate to stay again as it was in an excellent location and all the staff were very friendly and helpfull, thanks for a wonderfull stay janet frankland

it would be good to mention that all toiletries, shampoo showergel ect are provided as when people are going for a weekend break they try to take only a small amount of luggage, and it is good to know before that these are provided as they can take up quite a bit of room in luggage.

a small quaint hotel in a side street central for all the major attractions in venice with exceptional sevice and attenton to all your needs, very friendly staff on hand to help with your plans and excelent for a romantic break as breakfast is served in your room every morning.the rooms are very tastefully decorated and the prices are very good.

All very good, we got not just a superior room but one with a jaccuzi, very welcome. THe staff were very welcoming and wanting to help and our late arrival at 7pm was fine as open 24 hours.

Very clean, spacious and tidy. staff always willing to help. Conveinient for everything. The breakfasts were great and made life easier by havign it brought to your room.

Very reasonable hotel close to everything, but without the noise!
Very helpful when checking out as check out time was 11am but we weren't leaving on water bus till 1.30 so they were happy to keep out luggage in reception so we could savour the last few hours of our stay in venice.

The location is a definate plus as well as well as the extremely friendly service and excellent rooms.
Perhaps the driections could be better such as from arsenal turn right down x street then left at. It was fine for us as we had a map.

We arrived very late after the check-in time and they were very good to wait for us.

The only negitive commnt I can find, and there really weren't many was that the breakfast left a little to be desired. This however would not pursaude me to say away, I would recommend this place to freind and family.

Arrival was made very easy. We were given clear directions on which water bus to get and then we were met at the stop and shown to the accomodation.

We arrived quite late at night and the receptionist/porter didn't speak good English so there wasn't much conversation. This was fine. He carried our cases to the room.

I had asked for 2 bills or 2 receipts as I was there in a work capacity and my partner was not. However, there was some misunderstanding and only got the one. It wasn't really a problem. However, the credit card machine calculated the cost in pounds and at a very poor exchange rate which meant us paying more than what I had anticipated.

The location was perfect for us - and it is just around the corner from one of Venice's best restaurants. It was also very quiet - no noise from the street and very little from other guests. For a light sleeper this was fantastic!

I would definately recommend to a friend. It was quite a special place. The only disappointment was the breakfast. It was on a tray in the room and you made your own tea or coffee - we liked this because it meant you didn't have to rush to get to breakfast by a certain time. HOwever, we thought they could have been a bit more imaginative with what was provided - some fresh fruit and yoghurt and some better quality coffee would have made a big difference. The owner did say tho that they plan to turn a little courtyard in the back to a breakfast area and this would be nice.

Accomodation was satisfactory and staff were very polite and helpful. Walls were thin and it was unclear that breakfast was actually biscuits and packaged breads. Slightly over priced for a room without a served breakfast.

Ok -fair. Good location once found, clean and well laid out rooms, polite staff but perhaps $20 a night over priced with no breakfast.

We had no trouble finding the hotel. However, we had received our directions from a friend who lives nearby.

The room was wonderful. We didn't expect our own bathroom and were pleasantly surprised to have one. The decorations were beautiful.

The staff was kind enough to keep our luggage after we checked out so we could roam around town for a while.

I told my friend who lives in the Arsenale district that it was a great place to stay and she could recommend it to anyone.

An inviting intimate hotel ,beautifully decorated with antiques. Hidden in a tiny ramo near the famous 'Al Cove 'restaurant.
Five minutes from Arsenale vaporetto stop.

Our plane was 2 hrs late, so didn't arrive

The accommodation stated a room with a terrace, but the room we had was without a terrace.
The room supplied ,however , was to a high standard and acceptable to us so we did not request a change to the specified room.

A small hotel with loads of 17th century, typically Venetian, style and atmosphere, within easy walking distance of the main centre of Old Venice.
Staff are friendly and welcoming with a good command of English.

The room was beautifully decorated with murano glass and stylish bathroom. The service was fantastic. Our rooms was always cleaned in the morning and the staff was very polite and helpfull.

The hotel was quiet and clean and the staff was extremely helpful. I definitely think that the directions should be more clear. We didn't know which water stop to get off closest to the hotel which made our walk much further. The streets are already hard in venice, so without specific directions, we walked for an hour when the hotel was only 5 minutes from the stop.

We had some initial trouble explaining that we already HAD reservations and were looking for directions so we could check in when we called the hotel, but this is our fault because our Itialian leaves much to be desired! Once we arrived, the entire staff was amazingly friendly, helpful and non-intrusive.

Our stay was PERFECT!! I say that the property was 'excactly as on the website' because it was -- but we had assumed that the website just used pics of the better rooms - when we entered the 4th floor (our room) it was like walking into a Venetian fairy tale! Breakfast was also brought to us each morning by the wonderful staff, which we didn't even expect! We are a same-sex couple, and each and every staff member treated us with utmost respect and not a hint of unease. We are just blown away by this place!

We had to leave very early, so we discussed this with the person at the desk the day before and he allowed us to check out/pay/etc the evening before. He also prepared us breakfast at 6am, even though it isn't normally served that early, because he knew we were leaving early.

I loved the fact that we were a five minute stroll from St. Marco's Square (and a two minute stroll from the main canal), but you are staying in a beautiful little 'neighborhood,' complete with restaurants, little squares, etc. It was perfect.

See above - I have told EVERYONE about this hotel, and urged all of those who travel to Italy/Venice to stay here. As you can see, I can simply not say enough wonderful things about this place! I only hope that you pass this review along to the owner and staff!
