As far as I recolect you did not advise that it is possible to take the water taxi direct fromthe airport and disembark at the hotels jetty. We did of course take this option when we checked out and brought a spectacular end to one of our best ever short break holidays....simply superb thank you for your assistance too. ... Superb

We loved the hotel and its location and would definitely stay again. However, we had to complain that on two occasions our room was left unlocked by the cleaning staff. ... Wonderfully positioned with charming views of the bacino.

Porter needed to move luggage from dock to site. Water taxi could not enter from canal. ... Location excellent, lovely view of gondola station. ... Water taxi able to reach dock at hotel. Be prepared to pay fees, 100 euros to return to airport. ... An excellent choice for a stay in Venice. Close to all venues, great accomodations.

Met and welcome by reception staff. Personally shown to our room by reception staff and bags taken by concierge. A warm welcome all round. ... Very good breakfast buffet. Excellent location a few steps from St Marks square. ... Staff were willing to hold luggage to allow us to continue sightseeing during the remainder of the day after checkout. ... Complementary trip to Murano was excellent in terms of the boat ride but of limited interest regards the glass blowing. It was more of a opportunity for the factory to get visitors into the showroom. Prices were very high. One morning the drains smell was very strong and was such that it was offputting to eat in the breakfast room. Most of the rest of the time the Venice 'smell' was not too bad. ... The Hotel Cavalletto e Doge Orseolo is an excellent Best Western hotel ideally situated a few steps walk from St Marks Square. The Hotel is only 10-15 minutes walk from the Rialto bridge and situated close to the water bus routes for easy access.

We were able to upgrade to a triple room with a few of the canal for an upcharge but it was well worth it. ... We were very happy with the hotel. It was expensive but the accomodations, location, and staff were great.

Hotel hidden in the beautiful streets of Venice, with a fantastic view of the 'gondolas' right in the hotel entrance. It is an impact.Recepcionists very friendly, we went to our rooms through a lot of stairs, obviously we were in a very ancient city in the middle of the ocean.-Fantastic location, right beside the St. Mark's square.- ... Fantastic breakfast, Jorge Castillo, chef, very friendly and helpful.-If possible, the hotel could change carpets, bed covers, it is all very clean but it looks a little bit old.-A bit expensive in relation to all other hotels we stayed in Italy.- ... Charming, in the center of Venice, right beside the gondolas.- They offered a free trip to the island of Murano which was fantastic.-Breakfast very nice, recepcionists of hotel very warm and friendly.-

A lovely hotel, and it is situated close to many amenities. What is most desirable is its proximity to Piazza San Marco. Peter

I paid for superior accommodation but, as I have stayed in this hotel twice before, the room was no better than the standard I have had before. In fact, the bathroom was worse. The only thing that was better was the view. ... shower facilities very poor. 1.small narrow bath created cramped conditions when used as a shower. User frequently brushed against shower control lever causing irritating changes of water temperature. 2. The step across bathroom floor is potentially extremely dangerous. I twisted my ankle and it would be a nightmare for arthritic conditions. ... I paid for a superior room but would not say the facilities were superior to the standard room I had last time. The bathroom really needs updating. ... Satisfactory. Don`t bother paying the extra for a superior room.

Our room looked out to construction which obviously was unfortunate. The room was just okay, not as nice as I had thought it would be. ... An acceptable place to stay in Venice, but there were other nicer places.

I had requested two deluxe rooms. One as a twin bedded room and the other a double. In my opinion the quality of both rooms was very different. One had a bath the other had a shower and both were double rooms which we had not requested ... Basic, probably quite quite good by Venice standards though. Very central. Bar staff were great, very basic breakfast

I ot the accomodation BUT i have to say that from your description I couldn't understand how small the room was. For this amazing price I paid it wasn't worth it. The room was disgraceful! I suggest you also put measurements of rooms in your descriptions and not only try to sell them because the customer is left with a bitter after taste ... as said before the room was embarassly small. The door was hard to lock so there was no feeling of security ... VERY SMALL ROOMS!!!! ... Not worth the money or time

We were dealt with very promptly and coureously. After unpacking, we discovered a small leak in the en-suite bathroom (which should have been noticed by the person who cleaned the room!) but were moved to a room of equal if not higher quality without fuss. ... A fine place to stay, good central location with friendly efficient staff.

They allowed us into the room earlier than was expected. A nice surprise! ... This accomodation was a little pricey for the size of the room. ... It belongs to the Best Western group which normally has a good brand image. This information was not on the web site. ... Right off of San Marcos square in a quite street backing up to a lovely canal.

I asume the Breakfast room is too small. And it is not very comfortable. If it would be bigger and not such a bright light it would be nice to stay there and have another cup of coffee.

Perhaps I missed it on the website---but I didn't expect to have to cross the street to get to my room. While you always suspect that there are less 'desireable' rooms without the view of the canal, etc....I didn't expect to be taken across what looked like an alley to a completely separate entrance.
