This hotel was ideally situated in one of the loveliest parts of Venice. There were two good restaurants close by and a good piazza for late drinks.
Carlo was particularly helpful and gave us some excellent advice for our ongoing trip to Modena.

The surrounding area, although quiet, has a good selection of restaurants and piazzas. It is ideally suited in a lovely area.

The published directions were inadequate but the receptionist kindly provided more detailed directions in response to our request before arrival.

The room's window screens needed repair, and the bedside lamps lacked shades although they are shown on the web site.

On our last day we had to leave early before breakfast was served. So the evening before the receptionist gave us yogurt, juice, and muffins to have in our room before departure - a very thoughtful treat.

Once I arrived I was assisted with my bags into my room and welcomed to the hotel. I was also provided with plenty of useful information about to do around Venice and the best ways to see the city.

I was very comfortable staying here, and would highly recommend it. It was central enough to navigate around Venice and the staff were very friendly in pointing out key sites and methods to get to various locations.

I left my bags packed in my room before checking out as I needed to go to a tour in the morning, and when I returned the bags were already waiting for me behind the reception desk so that I wouldnt have to worry about them.

We had a wonderful stay. Carlo was most helpful and flexible in handling our changing plans. We would certainly stay there should we visit Venice again.

It is a very quiet, intimate place somewhat removed from the main tourist thoroughfares but is still conveniently located near major attractions.

The directions on the website were a little confusing when they said 'Go right around the building and then take the first right on Calle Corfù'.
We actually walked all the way around the building instead of taking the first laneway to the right. Perhaps it should read 'Go right along the building and take the first right on Calle Corfu'.

The bathroom was lovely, better than expected and the best we experienced in Europe. Breakfast room was lovely, location perfect and our host Carlos was very pleasant. I would like to make a suggestion that there are more tables and chairs in the courtyard, because there was only one, it could use a few more plants as well. A really lovely hotel, I would stay there again.

Very pleasant, excellent bathroom, great location, good breakfast and helpful staff. Highly recommended. It was also lovely to listen to classical music during breakfast, a very nice touch.

We generally really enjoyed our stay. The evening of our arrival, we had to actually find another hotel using directions posted on the door to ours, and then have the concierge there accompany us back to our hotel to check us in. The following evening, another couple was stranded outside without anyone to meet them, and we were able to help. But the quality and kindness of the permanent day concierge was great, as was the breakfast. We would stay again, but do think the evening arrival process can be quite disorienting to someone if they have never been in Venice before and already have some sense of how to get around the city.

See comment above re evening check-in. I had called from the airport to confirm a late arrival, so at least the evening concierge expected us. We arrived about 10:30 p.m.

A very well located (near the Accademia and the Guggenheim museums, and not far from San Marco's plaza), very friendly and helpful day concierge, and comfortable, clean accommodations.

We were lost and Carlo came to get us from where we were.

There was a problem with the heat in our room. Didn't have heat at night and only stayed on for minutes during the day. Carlo was extremely helpful on giving directions and suggestions for places to visit. He was very knowledgeable of the area.

The room was a bit smaller than we expected. Location was just perfect for us. Carlo was incredibly helpful, and we thoroughly enjoyed interacting with him during our stay.

As mentioned above, location is ideal. Walking distances to sites are very tolerable and easy. Staff is very helpful in setting up transportation needs via train, etc. Recommendations available for restaurants - good choices.

Despite the fact that we arrived at night (after 9 p.m), we called the hotel and they met us at the the closest Water-bus terminal. This was highly apprecaited as first-time visitors in Venice it would have been really difficult to find our own way through the narrow and forever changing streets of venice!!

The stay was very good. The room was small but nice and the service was excellent! They were very couteous and helped us with information when we needed it!

We checked out in the morning but they allowed us to leave our luggage at the hotel and let us in later to pick it up, which was really useful for us.

It was clean and friendly and the service was very good. It was also well located close to some of the main sites we well as a water bus station.

Partly the rooms and especially the bathrooms are very small, but we had exspected something like that in Venice.

Accomodation in Venice is pretty expensive, regarding this the value for the money was good.

It is a amall, but very nice place with a special charm and atmosphere, at a good and central location in Venice. For that it is pretty quiet.
Breakfast is fine (continental or italian stile).
The staff is very nice and helpful.
We enfoyes our stay.
