we heard some guests being offered a welcoming drink and cake which we were not offered, however we were not expecting it!

The room was quite small for a triple, which we had, the hotel was very central and easy walking distance from the ferry for central venice, and also good restuarants and the beach.
The breakfast was adequate, the staff were very helpful and spoke english.
All in all a pleasant stay, and better than staying centrally in venice

We had a late flight out and the staff were good about storing cases and using facilities after the check out time

Actually, I don't remember there being a map on the website, but we found it after we bought a street map.

It's a lovely 5-10 minute walk from the hotel to the docks where you catch the vaporetti to the main island.

Charming, nice view from our balcony, and an easy walk to the dock. Good continental breakfast.

Good range of accommodation from luxury hotels to basic accommodation, including apartments and farmhouses. Good descriptions. Helpful listing by area - especially as we were only onterested in Venice Lido for our last trip. Good photos.

We had been booked in for two instead of three nights, but in spite of it being a very busy weekend, the recptionist went to a lot of trouble to rectify the mistake and offered us a lovely room. Our booking voucher clearly stated three nights so I don't know where the mistake occurred.

Reception staff were extremely helpful, polite and friendly. Took a lot of time to discuss merits of a list of restaurants I'd taken and phoned chosen ones to check availability. Produced glue to mend broken glasses.

Rooms differed in size and amenities - some had a terrace, some a balcony, one had both terrace and balcony (which we were lucky enough to have!) and some had neither. Hardly any traffic noise or sounds from other rooms.

In an ideal central location on the Lido - convenient for the water bus to Venice and the islands. Quiet, peaceful luxurious atmosphere even though close to the main thoroughfare. Surrounded by a beautiful well-kept garden. Spacious, attractive rooms. Professional, helpful staff. Not the cheapest but one of the best!

Accomadation was better in that I was given a double room rarther than the single I had booked, for the same price.

The Hotel was absolutely fine. Comfortable and clean. We had a very nice room and the staff were most obliging. The receptionist was very helpful finding us train times to Verona. Breakfast was perfectly adequate. if I was going to be picky - there was a broken coathook in the room and a light bulb not working in the bedside lamp but that was all I could falt.

I would recommend the Hotel to a friend. Fairly basic - but perfectly adequate as a base from which to explore Venice.

We were very late arriving due to delayed flight. Staff accommodating and helpful about all of this.
There was a problem with a bad smell in the ensuite bathroom. Overpoweringly bad. Staff changed our room and the new room was satisfactory.

Villa Cipro was a very good hotel we thought. We appreciated the outdoor terrace and the convenience of a minibar. All in all it was excellent.

receptionist only spoke italian but was
patient and friendly. room was disappointing
- carved out of spare space and off the
reception hall.

we asked to change our room the next morning
and were re-accommodated to one which was
lovely. Very good of the hotel to have made
the effort, as they were fully booked.

This is the second time i have stayed in the villa cipero and the airconditioning has been 'broken'
