The directions were completely accurate and our host met us at the vaporetto before a 2 minute walk to the unit. Our hosts were pleasant and very helpful.

This is a beautiful accommodation - a self-contained unit in a 600 year old building which has been sensitively refurbished to retain its character. It is in a charming quiet square in a beautiful part of Venice, a quiet and captivating precinct a couple of minutes walk from the university quarter eating places (inexpensive and interesting food). It is within easy walking distance to San Marco and Rialto. The hosts were pleasant, helpful and punctual. We have already recommended La Colonna Gotica to friends and would stay there again.
