By plane: the nearest airport is Venice airport. From there, you can take the shuttle boat, called "Alilaguna", leaving every hour from 04.00 a.m. to midnight. The nearest stop is Arsenale. From the stop follow the street on your right: you have to cross two bridges and after fifty meters you are in the middle of via Garibaldi. Follow the street and when you reach the church San Francesco di Paola, on your left side take the small street on the left, next to the church. Then, take the first on your left, which is called Corte Contarina, where the hotel is situated on the left side. If you arrive at Treviso airport, the best way to reach our hotel is taking the shuttle bus to Venice directly and stop to piazzale Roma. From there take any water bus (1-41-42-51-52-61-62-82 lines) and stop to Giardini. From the stop, cross the small square and go through viale Garibaldi, on your right. At the end, you are in via Garibaldi. In front of you there is a church called San Farncesco di Paola: take the small street on the left, next to the church. Then, take the first on your left, which is called Corte Contarina, where the hotel is situated on the left side. If you prefer you come to the hotel by motor boat taxi, but it is slightly more expensive.
By train: coming from the train station Santa Lucia or from piazzale Roma the most convenient way to reach our hotel is using public transport, taking the water bus (1-41-42-51-52-61-62-82 lines) and stop to Giardini. From there, as above.
By car: coming from any directions in Italy, you have to take the exit for Venice. From there, follow the directions to the city centre and to piazzale Roma. When you reach piazzale Roma, leave your car at the parking in the square and reach the hotel with public water bus (as above). |
