It is a lovely, intimate hotel located in a part of Venezia that is historically interesting, tranquil and close to everything. I would definately stay at this hotel again, and recommend it to others.

The staff at the hotel is very helpful and accomodating. They were all polite and had smiles. It makes one feel very comfortable.

In regard to question number 8, the room was clean and private, but very small, even by European standards, as was the bathroom. The phone in my room did not work well, it was necessary to get help from the front desk to make calls.

The staff was very helpful in arranging our checkout. Travel in Venice is not easy, especially when one is traveling with more than average luggage.

This is a clean and lovely hotel. The staff is friendly and courteous. It is easy to get around from the location, abundant shopping and restaurants nearby. I would recommend it highly.

I do not know if this was a good value. It was a 3 star hotel but 160 euro is a lot of money. Perhaps this is fair for venice.

No problems arriving; hotel staff were ready and welcoming; we did need the voucher.

Rooms were pleasant, bathroom fine, staff friendly and helpful, location convenient for bus and train stations and in a pleasant area that wasn't overcrowded or noisy. A few problems. Especially, the A/C was ineffective (in at least three rooms we know of): we were given a fan but we still needed to keep the windows open, which let in a few mosquitoes. Two minor problems: the roof terrace wasn't used for breakfast(as shown on the web site)even though the weather was fine and it would have been nice outside. Also, no English-language TV.

Since the A/C was essentially useless, I don't think the hotel should be described as having A/C; and since breakfast was not served on the terrace despite the nice weather, the web-site shouldn't say that it is. On the positive side, you could say that the reception staff are very friendly and helpful.

We didn't stay in any other hotels so we don't have any other to compare with in the price range. The major drawback was the ineffective A/C. Despite a few practical problems, I enjoyed staying there. The staff were very nice and the location was good, and gave us a better chance to discover and relax in a pleasant neighborhood area of Venice, which I preferred to the always-crowded prime tourist areas around San Marco.

Friendly, in a quiet area, convenient for the vaporetti, within 200 metres of Ponte degli Scalzi.
I would recommend highly this hotel to any friends or family wanting accommodation in Venice.

Many thanks, we enjoyed staying at one of your Apartments, we did meet the Receptionist on arrival, who was very friendly and helpfull, an altogether very nice break in a superb city.

The only slight suggestion that we would make:
It would be helpful to remind guests that they need to drop off the room key when they leave the hotel. The evening desk clerk was quite annoyed with us when we arrived back on our first evening because I had unfortunately taken the key with me rather than drop it off. I was terribly embarrassed about this error on my part, and he was visibly upset/angry with me that I had done this. A reminder to guests to leave the key when leaving the hotel would be helpful, and would have avoided this one and only unpleasant moment during our wonderful stay at your lovely hotel.

We have recommended this hotel to all of our friends here in the States. My cousin lives in Vicenza, and has frequent guests who visit Venice. He and his wife stayed with us during our Venice visit, and has selected the Hotel Ai Due Fanali for their future Venice trips, and to visitors from the States.
I cannot say enough good things about our stay at your hotel. The location is superb, the breakfast arrangements were excellent, and the staff was wonderful.
Naturally, we fell in love with Venice, and staying at the Hotel Ai Due Fanali enhanced the perfection of our visit. Please share my appreciation with your staff.

It is further to walk to St Marks square than we thought.

The room was clean and recently renovated. The view to the canal was lovely and slightly set back so you didnt have canal noise. The room was very small thought so you couldnt really stay longer than a weekend. The staff were frienly and helpful.

We had water pour down into our bathroom late one night and it took some prodding on our part to get a satisfactory resolution to the problem.

On a quiet residential campo bordering the Grand Canal. In a pleasant neighborhood near nice bars and small restaurants that seemed relatively undiscovered.

Venice is a difficult city to arrive at no
matter how good the directions are. We did not
have nearly enough detail for the directions
to the Hotel to collect keys for our
apartment.
