I loved the room we had, which was at the very top...'pent house room' with its own private huge balcony. When I visit Venice again, I would like that room.
...
I wish we could have stayed longer
...
Great place to stay....away from the main crowds at St. Mark's square.

The room was quite small and it was unfortunate but next door there was a young child crying. This is not the hotels fault.
...
Very convenient for Venice - better than staying on the main island.

The room was small. I didn't matter, we didn't spend much time there. I don't know how they do it but the rooms look twice the size in the pictures. No irons were available but they had excellant service. The location was great to get out of the tourist mode. A great wine shop and grocery store are about a block away.
...
Price was high for what we got but it was less than most places in Venice proper. It reall hurt to find out that the next week the prices would be 2/3 less because of the start of low season.
...
nothing

It would be a great place to stay in the off season because of the price. The rooms were clean and well cared for. The staff was great and very helpful. They don't have or allow irons in the rooms so plan on some wrinkled clothes. There was only one electrical outlet for charging batteries, shaving etc. I would stay there again.

It's too bad we only stayed for a few hours. The hotel room was very cozy and clean. The breakfast was the best one I had in all the hotels I visited in Europe...I wish I could have stayed longer
...
I don't remember exactly the web site...but I should say the breakfast is excellent.

We had a very nice room (no. 27). We liked the venetian style of our room.
The quality of the breakfast has been significantly improved since our last stay in Villa Edera (May 2002).
However, I would prefer the coffee more hot.

During the day vaporetto line no. 1 is running every ten minutes from Lido to Venice.
Vaporetto line no. 1 is in operation till late in the night.

A very nice hotel in quiet surroundings on the Lido of Venice.
Taking the vaporetto you are only 15 minutes away from the centre of Venice.

The location is perfect as it lies in a very nice residential area without too many noisy hotels around it. The walk to the waterbus is very short and going in and out of Venice is extremely easy. The lush vegetation surrounding the area makes it very relaxing. Breakfast in the garden under the trees is extremely nice.

A nice relaxing hotel and an excellent base to visit Venice as well as the other outlying islands.

Villa Edera was terrific. It was clean, pretty, nice bathroom, good breakfasts.
...
Because Villa Edera is on the Lido, we spent a little time on the vaporetto commuting. That gave us abetter feel for Venice and taking the boat back at night was lovely.

We arrived quite late and were worried we'd find the hotel overbooked, or the staff impatient. Instead, the keys, and the receptionist, were waiting for us.
...
The level of clenliness could have been higher. The bed and the shower were great, but the top of the closet was very dusty, and the carpeting showed signs of excessive wear.
...
Take advantage of the continental breakfast. A donut and coffee it is not. The croissants are fresh, the cakes delicious, and the spreads to die for. Nowhere on Lido will you find breakfast this good, at any price.

A nice quiet hotel, good adress to stay in venice. A small breakfast-room, but breakfast was good and more than 'italian'. The place is just 4 minutes to walk from ship-station.

The rooms are very small but absolutely nice furnished and decorated. But some people are used to larger rooms. So there should be an advice.

When we arrived in Lido by vaporetta, it was not clear where the Hotel was located even if we did know it wasn't very far. It could use some clarification.
...
We loved the breakfast ... exceeded our expectations.
...
They kept our bags for us until 3:00, which was excellent.
...
Very clean, well appointed, lift, convenient. After we booked, six more friends booked as well, and we would all go back next time in Venice.

Hotel Villa Edera location was perfect for our stay in Venice just a stone's throw away from the Ferry stop, which made it more fun to travel to San Marco and appreciate the views of Venice. The hotel was very clean and staff were very helpful - we will definitely be visiting Venice and Italy again (soon I hope) - highly recommended!

the overall impression of villa Ederer was nice, especially your website andthe booking worked very well. the staff unfortunately was a bit confused, not always helpfuland the first word you hear seems to be NO. Only after asking again they provide you with information. for the checking outit took them 3times to get the amount correct.

The rooms were clean. Two of the rooms very small, we had to keep clothes in the bag because the cupborads had very litte space. The staff in the reception is polite, but not friendly. Not a hotel I would like to go back to.

The standard room available for our stay was rather small as compared to the other rooms we saw. It was odd sized due to the limited size of the property the hotel was built on. The result was a cramped stay. If we had been in any of the other rooms we saw it would have been a very good experience for the facility.
...
The value would have been good if the room was not small.
...
The general hotel staff was very friendly however the front desk staff was at times curt when we needed assistance.

Not a major issue but it was annoying.
