EVENTS
Carnival:
Venice Carnival began to spread out
in the XI century and reached its maximum popularity and excesses
in the XVIII century, declined during the industrial development,
but since 1979 recovered its original strenght.
Venice shows all its love for mystery
during this exciting and happy celebration in which masks and costumes
play a basic role thanks to anonymity they give.
