Very welcoming and helpful with a slight problem we had (no fault of the hotel)which smoothed everything over beautifully.

The hotel staff where very obliging about holding luggage for us to pick up later. The room was very comfortable with an excellent bathroom and plenty of hot water.

Quiet location with very friendly genuine staff. Rooms smallish but comfortable. The whole hotel clean, tidy, warm with good amenities. And definitely good value!

We had stayed at the Locanda Fiorita before in 2000, and found it great then, and it was just as good this time. It is also very conveniently located for walking to all the main tourist attractions. Very bright and friendly staff. We really enjoyed our stay.

The Hotel Locanda Fiorita can also be accessed by getting off the ferry at the Academia Bridge, and walking over the bridge and through the piazza - I realise you have to get off the ferry on the other side of the Grand Canal to do this, but think that it's a bit easier to find doing it this way.

Very cosy, friendly atmosphere, and very well located - within walking distance of Piazza San Marco, the Rialto Bridge etc.

Our flight was delayed and we did not arrive until 2am. I phoned the hotel in advance to warn them of our late arrival and they were very understanding and assured us that someone would be there to greet us. Very friendly staff!

A lovely place, tucked away in its own square. Very handy to San Marco and a great starting point to explore Venice by foot or vaporetto. It was great way to start the day too having breakfast 'al fresco' in the square outside in the morning. The staff were consistently cheerful, polite and helpful.

The directions did not include street names. Adding them would be helpful. We did find our way, though.

Excellent location. Recently renovated room with good ventilation and air conditioning, nice bathroom, bed OK. Minibar had reasonable prices (!!!). Breakfast was OK, 'continental' only.

The only fault with the room was concerning the heating. The first room was extremely hot and wew were not able to control it. We had to have the windows open all night and therefore the room was noisier than it should have been. But staff were very good at moving us to another room next day.But the heating still could not be controlled from the room. This is a problem at this otherwise very good hotel.

A very central hotel in an ideal location that is very good value for money. In Winter the breakfast accomodation is cramped and there are problems with the heating, but I would stil recommend it to a friend.

The 'beutiful Guest House Ca' Morosini' to me was prettier than the main building. Saying it overlooked 'Stephen's Square' and was recently remodled would have been reassuring. We were expecting something second rate since 'the main hotel was booked.'

It was more like an English Bed & Breakfast than what I expected as a hotel. While the weather was good for breakfast outdoors, I wondered where it would have been served had it been raining.

Quaint. Centrally located to the tourist sites. Away from the hubbub of the tourist traffic. If Venice floods, this hotel won't. If you want to be in the centre of Venice, this hotel is as good as it gets for the price.

Great location for seeing the sights. Very clean and comfortable although in the room we had the bathroom/shower was a bit smaller than we would have liked. Polite, friendly and helpful staff. This was our second visit to Hotel Locanda Fiorita having visited 5 years ago and we weren't disappointed on this visit and would definitely recommmed this hotel to friends.

Only surprise was that the street behind the hotel had a restaurant/bar that created a fair bit of noise late at night, so we couldn't leave our window open.

Good location. Just far enough away from San Marco to get out of the tourist congestion, but still an easy walk everywhere. Very authentic.

Room was quite basic. Very small, not much room to hang up clothes. Likewise for the bathroom.
