It is very easy to reach Ai Pugni. From the train Station one can walk here in 12 minutes. From Piazzale Roma, if one comes by car, it is an 10 minutes walk. If one chooses to take the water bus, it is 2 minutes from the Cą Rezzonico boat stop which the main boat service, The Number One, stops at. We can also arrange to meet guests on their arrival and accompany them to the apartment. |

From the airport (Marco Polo)
-Private water taxi: directly to the Rio tera' dei pugni, ask for "Rio Tera dei pugni", ponte "bridge" dei pugni.
-Taxicab to Piazzale Roma: (15 minutes) and from there on foot.
-Alilaguna: a company that takes passengers to Piazzale Roma on a motor launch - from there on foot.
-Public Transport: From the Venice Air Terminal one can choose between the Orange ACTV bus (number 5) or the ATVO blue bus. They bring you to Piazzale Roma in 20 minutes.

From the train station (Santa Lucia)
-From the train station it takes 15 minutes on foot. If you have heavy luggage you may prefer the boat. Bear right when you leave the station, take the no1 going leftwards "Direzione Lido" (direction Lido) and get off at Cą Rezzonico. From there is 2 minutes walk. [Boat tickets are dear for single journeys. Ask for a 3-Day/ 7-Day ticket- these give unlimited travel and cover their costs in 4 or 5 single trips.].
From Piazzale Roma by Car
-There are a number of garages at Piazzale Roma (The Comunale, San Marco, and other smaller ones) where one can leave the car.
-From here you can either walk to the apartment in 7 minutes or take the Vaporetto line no1. |
