Foscari Palace is located in Campo Sofia, along the Gran Canal and very close to the street linking the railway station of Venice to the city centre (Rio Terrà S.Leonardo). Along this street there are several restaurants, typical "bacari" (Venetian trattorie) where you can eat a "cicchetto" and drink an "ombra" (Venetian traditional food and drink... you must taste it!).
Furthermore in this street you will find also a chemist, grocery stores, banks and entertainment venues including Venice casino and a cinema. Strolling along this picturesque street you will be able to reach St.Mark's square in 15 minutes walking distance. |
