We tried to call the property owner beforehand but there was no answer. We came by train from mestre to venice at around 13:00. We only reached the owner once we were on the train. He said that someone would meet us about 5 minutes after we arrived. After waiting for 15 minutes we called again. He apologized for the delay and said that someone would be there in 10 minutes. Someone met us about 20 minutes later. It was now close to 14:00. He led us to the apartment not in the way described in your email, but probably a faster route. Once we approached the apartment, the man offered to stop at a cafe and have some coffee that he'd pay for. We told him we weren't interested, we just wanted to get to the apartment to drop off our things. However, it seems that the apartment was still being cleaned. We did drop off our stuff, but the apartment was not ready until after 15:00.

We only had 2 towels, more were supplied Saturday night.

The directions should not go by boat to St. Toma, but rather should just cross the bridge and walk. The walk itself is slightly longer but overall it's much quicker and cheaper.

Train was late, but had to ring to get someone to meet us - took about half an hour to arrive.

Weekly cleaning did not happen;we were given one spare set of linen and we had to wash to have sufficient clean for the month.

No one there to check us out; had to leave keys in flat and close up.

Reasonable value, but would tell them to insist on cleaning being done. Also, nowhere comfortable to sit for long. Proximity to centre excellent.

A very pleasant stay. We had everything we wanted aand the owner was very helpful including looking after our bags on the day we checked out so that we didn't have to have them with us on the last day until we left to catch our flight. We would definitely be happy to go back.

We were met at the bus terminus (Piazza del Roma) by arrangement with the owner. We were then taken on a short guided walk to our accommodation. This saved us having to find the accomodation ourselves.
We would like to thank the owner for allowing us to leave our luggage in the accommodation earlier than the advertised time.

On the main route from these terminii to the Rialto bridge and St Mark's Square.
Near to many Valporetto stops on the Grand Canal.
The best pizza shop in Venice within 250 metres

Plenty of space, well furnished, quiet, everything you need in the kitchen and a bathroom you would dream about during a long hot day of sightseeing.

It was a true Venetian apartment, in the centre of the San Polo district, decorated in the Venetian style, with
Murano glass mirrors and chandeliers and marble floors. It was very clean, well-equipped and extremely comfortable. The door was double-bolted, all windows were covered with a iron grate, so security was very high. Finally, the kitchen was brand-new and fully equipped- we even had a bottle of prosecco in the fridge waiting for us. Wonderful place.

Actually, we didn't really have anyone come to the apartment for our check-out. We had agreed that we would leave the keys in the ashtray when we left and that is what we did with no problem.

This apartment is very clean and comfortable. The rooms are spacious and well heated. It is very conviently located not too far from the train station. There is a some foot traffic that is audible, especially from one of the bedrooms and the living/dining room. At night is is very quiet. The kitchen was adequately supplied with pots/pans and contains a four-burner stove plus an oven. And there are some places near-by to purchase food.
I would highly recommend this apartment to anyone, especially a family or friends who are happy to live independently on vacation. We enjoyed our stay and would happily return if we decide to visit Venice again.

On arriving we phoned and were promptly met by a guide to our apartment. Communication was nods and smiles...we had little Italian, she little English.
This did create a problem when we tried to establish when to pay our bill.However a phonecall resolved the situation promptly and politely.

Frari Apartment was comfortable and gave a sense of being part of Venice but not in the middle of the 'tourist' traps.The freedom to come and go as you please and have the space of more than one hotel room was very much appreciated. Having a kitchen again gave the freedom of choosing whether to eat out or in -we did both. The Kitchen was also a great spot to sit and watch the Venetians bustling on their way to work, while we sipped coffees and ate croissants purchased from the local bakery. Superb!! And very relaxing.

This apartment (actually was a house) was lovely. It was spacious, clean and all the facilities (such as fridge, shower, stove) were in good working order. It was very central and an excellent price.

There was some confusion on our part as we had changed our reservations and did not reply properly. We were not met at the train station as agreed and had to stay at a hotel in Venice for the first night.
The confusion was cleared up and we were met the next morning and taken directly to our apartment.
We were extremely impressed with the apartment, furnishings, location and thouroughly enjoyed our stay in Venice. I would recommend these accomadations to people who enjoy the ability to relax in comfort and have the ability to come and go as they please.

We did not get the agreed accommodation in the first time. After we told them, that it was not the agreed accomodation, they show us the way to the right Apartment.
