direct surrondings were lovely, away from the main touristic bustle though we could still walk everywhere.

the appartment can in fact house 7 persons (2 dble beds + 1 single) rather than the 4-5 announced; we should not have rented the extra room (we were 6).
Number and type of beds should in general figure on the website, since it is important to figure out how a group/familly can fit into an apartment.

Good location both for arrival and for walking around Venice; affordable shops, open markets and restaurants nearby; charming, independant ground floor apartment on a picturesque canal, perfect for a familly with small children.
