Once you get off the Guglie Vapporetto stop you need to make a right after the Pharmacy which is across from the Guglie stop the street looks like a tunnel). Go through the tunnel and go right over a bridge and then it is on your right.

Very spacious large room. We had a balcony which was a nice touch. Very helpful staff including resturant suggestions and maps available at the desk. Great recommendations of how to walk around the area for an afternoon. Breakfast was a simple roll. Clean room with really only a bath tub. Their was a show head but no curtain or show door. Bathroom area would have been wet. Still a good location, I would stay their again.

The staff was helpful organizing transportation in advance for a early 0400 water taxi to the airport. Regular transportation isn't available that early.

Welcoming, friendly, clean, quiet. While in the North of Venice, excellent connections with all parts of Venice, because of the proximity of the waterbuses. We slept well because of the quiet and the quality of the beds. The only hotel in the Ghetto, the locanda is surrounded by Jewish history. A great place for Jews to stay: gentiles equally welcome. I would have no hesitation in staying there again, when Visiting Venice.

The Hotel was not very visible in the square where it is situated. We could not see a sign saying 'Hotel' but eventually saw the name written on the window.

Quiet, peaceful,fantastically situated - not in the hustle and bustle but still right on the doorstep of all the sights and sounds of beatiful Venice. Absolutely lovely!

Der Platz ist gefährdet. Zum Schutz der jüdischen Denkmäler und Synagogen sind direkt vor dem Hotel immer (Tag und Nacht)4 - 5 Polizisten im Dienst. Das ergibt ein ungutes Gefühl. Zudem sind die Polizisten lärmig und rücksichtslos.

The only thing that I would improve is 'breakfast', I understand that is a eureopean breakfast, but thru the years that concepet has changed, and now most hotels offer a little bit more than coffee and bread. Cheese, ham and fruit would be be more aligned with the price.

The only negative comment I have about the hotel was the quality of the breakfast which was basically, coffee/hot milk, OJ and some rolls and jelly-a typical Italian breakfast but less than was being offered at other hotels.

Charming, intimate hotel in the beautiful Jewish Ghetto-I would highly recommend this little jewel to anyone traveling to Venice.

I had requested a twin room, rec'd a room with balcony which was a very pleasant surprise.

This is a delightful little hotel that I thoroughly enjoyed and would certainly recommend. The only area for improvement is breakfast. They serve coffee, juice, and rolls/ pastries; some fruit- even canned- would have made it perfect.

People travelling with large/ heavy bags should be advised to go to the private water taxi stop closest to the hotel.

unfortunatly when we arrived the water buses had stopped running,and the water taxi`s were the only available way of travelling to the hotel(very expensive)

It was Lovely, very friendly staff, beautiful rooms, but quite expensive. We stayed in 4 very nice hotels in Italy and Locanda Del Ghetto was by far the most expensive.

venice streets are a bit confusing. you could state the Vaporetto staation to get of from and directions from there.

They did not help me bring my bags to my room. Room did not have air conditioning as stated in the voucher.

1) The shower had no door and no curtain, so when we showered, the entire bathroom floor got wet.

I think this hotel should be cheaper. It seems more like a motel than a hotel.

It is a wonderful location. Just a 5 minute walk from the central train station of venice and right in the center of the jewish ghetto. A 10-15 minute walk to Piazza San Marco and Rialto Bridge.
Didn't like cancelation policy. Most places allow you to cancel with 24 hour notice -- they require 3 days notice -- a bit much.

The place was in a wonderful location and very clean. But bring your own shower curtain!

The only problem with our room was that it was noisy -- we were overlooking the square and there were 2 policeman directly outside our window most of the night who talked loudly
