Enjoyed my stay very much and loved the hotel. The older gentleman at the desk when I checked in was not very friendly (but not quite impolite), but the younger man at check in and the woman at check out were both very friendly and polite (so I just tried to avoid the older man). Other than the attitude of the older gentleman, everything was perfect. I hope to come back and stay with you again. Thank you very much. ... See previous comments about desk staff. Everything else was perfect. And I had stayed at a not very good hotel in Florence the week before (that hotel looked good on the web site even tho it wasn't), so that made Hotel Giorgione even more of a treat. ... No additional comments ... Excellent location within walking distance to everything but somewhat quiet and removed vs. hotels near St Mark's square. Great for people who want a quieter place to stay. ... I have already described to several friends as excellent and magical (just like Venice itself). I did caution that it's a little expensive (especially with current low dollar rate), but I feel that it was well worth the cost.

When I arrived they gave me a Standard Room even though I reserved and was paying for a Deluxe Room. I only got the better room when I complained. ... A little too expensive for location ... No better restaurants within walking distance of hotel

The staff was extremely gracious and helpful - nice touches ie: the bellman took my bags up for me and gave me a complete rundown on how everything worked, amenities etc. The breakfast was one of the best I had during my stay in Italy. The hotel itself was very charming and comfortable, quiet - great location. I'd recommend it to a friend.
