A beautiful room, very convenient to transportation, in a quiet neighborhood near Arsenale. Perfect choice for a couple wishing to see Venice on a budget. Experienced travelers who do not need all the 'extras' of a full-service hotel--and the price that goes with them--will love Gli Angeli.

Very convenient, without the crush of San Marco. 100 meters from the Arsenale waterbus stop.

The host was genuinely interested in the quality of our stay. She even arranged for a doctor when I was sick, and came with me to the doctor's as well!

Sonia was very helpful to us providing detailed easy directions to the place. The location is only a hundred yards from a vaporetto stop. The rooms are large and very charming decorated traditionally with modern conveniences and comfort.We loved it.

Sonia was available and answered our questions, gave us recommendations and some discounts, made sure we had what we needed. We saw some other guests but each room had lots of privacy. We loved the typical Venetian style of the building.

No problems with check out, and as a courtesy we could leave our luggage at Gli Angeli for a few hours that day.

The location was optimal for a week's stay. Away from the noise and crowds, near the Arsenal entrance, many restaurants and shops nearby, you feel at home in a real Venetian sestiere. Leave your quiet apartment and turn the corner to see cruise ships and tall ships at dock. We couldn't do better, for location, quality, comfort and price. Highest recommendation.

She provided us with an extremely useful map that gave us a route to follow that stayed away from the crowds. Plus information about local shops and restaurants

Gli Angeli exceeded our expectations in every way. The location was perfect. The garden was a quiet haven to return to after an exhausting time exploring Venice.

We had a very leisurely check out and the best thing was being able to leave our bags in a secure place.

We stayed in the most wonderful apartment. It was beautifully decorated, spacious and such a bonus having the kitchen (especially once we discovered the fishmonger just around the corner). After the chaos of Venice it was heavenly to walk into the peaceful garden. Sonia was incredibly helpful and welcoming. Staying at Gli Angeli made our visit to Venice all the more memorable.

Could not ask for a better experience. The apartment is very nice, everything was scrupolously clean and the owner is absolutely charming and helpful.

If you go to Venice with a family make sure you get the apartment. A stay of several days is recommended.

We stayed thoughout Italy for two weeks. I can't rave any much more and say the combination of the B&B, Sonja (hostess), and the location made it completely enjoyable. I would definately recommed this place and any other places by Gli Angeli.

Fantastic place, especially if visiting the
Biennale! The area is great, it still feels
surprisingly local and wonderfully relaxed.
The room was beautiful and very comfortable.

The Gli Angeli is in a very safe neighborhood and it is away from the noise and crowds. There is a really nice cafe next door and the pizza is very good.
The blue room does have plenty of storage space for clothes suitcases. The bathroom is small but very clean.

Sonia is a true people person and checking out was as easy as checking in!

It is very close to the Arsenale water bus stop. It is in a military area that is on video surveillance! One feels very safe there.

Got the exact room that I requested. Appeared as in the pictures in the Web Site. Sonia extreemly helpful with information and maps. The small bottle of Proseco was a nice touch. Excellent location. Would stay there again and deffinetly would recomend this to others.

Lovely apartment in pleasant quiet 'ordinary' area, yet only minutes from the lagoon and the main sites. Sonia was very welcoming and gave lots of helpful information.
Note to vegetarians: we found local restaurants offered rather unimaginative veg. options: Italian restaurants in UK are much better!
