Although the water taxi people say they will take you directly to the hotel the closest they get is Rialto Station.Confusing for first time visitors.

Rooms we're a bit tiny by American standards especially since we we're taking a cruise afterwards and had larger pieces of luggage and no where to put them in the room.

Once again the staff indicated the water taxi would come close to our hotel but......once again we had to move our luggage to the Rialto Station......it is not what we we're told by the duty staff when we made reservations for the taxi. Of course that individual was not on duty the next morning when the taxi arrived and those on duty said they knew nothing about it.....just passing the buck to some one else.
A big complaint would be the staff always professed the need to contact the manager for the smallest detail....they had little authority if any to make a decision....they need some power to think on there own.

Indicate in blocks of distance and number of steps it takes to get from the Rialto Station or St. Marks Square to the hotel so people can judge which route to take based upon thete luggage requirements/weight.

Warm , intimate, no food or drink after breakfast, cozy, not a lot of roon for luggage or clothing storage, quaint, quiet a nice place, convienent to a lot of things to see.
Should have a quiet little wine bar with some small snacks on the premises. The breakfast area could work nicely for such a venue.

due to a family beveavement 2 of our party were unable to make the trip, the reception staff were very considerate when dealing with the situation

you could not have got a hotel more centrally situated for the price it was excellant

I expected to have to pay full price for the room that was not taken however the hotel only charged me for 1 night.

the location for its situation 3 minutes from St Marks Square, 3 minutes from the grand canal Rialto bridge,could not be easier

Venice was stunning the stay was magical and the hotel added to the experience definately a city to return to

The only minor problem was that Room 16 was very small as a double. But as we booked very late & the Hotel was full we accepted this. All in all though the hotel, given its excellent location was fantastic value for money.

Ideally centrally located between Rialto & San Marco the Hotel represents good value for money. Everything was spotlessly clean and the Continental Breakfasts were perfectly adequate to start the day. We would have no hesitation revisting the hotel and are more than happy to recommend it to people looking for 3 star standards.

The breakfast was a little disappointing. and when I asked for an expresso because I saw that there was an express machine in the breakfast room I was told there was an additional charge. We enjoyed our stay and our room was very comfortable. Thank you for your service.

On the wed site there is a picture of the roof garden area with a table set for what I assumed was breakfast. The roof garden was locked and we were not allowed to go up an see the view.

The hotel is well positioned. A better map from the airport by bus would be helpful. Also where to buy the bus ticket in the airport.

Very nice hotel, worth the stay, halfway between Rialto Bridge and St Marks Square, and reasonably easy to find once you have your exit point at either end worked out, follow the signs on the walls.

Room became very noisy at night / first thing in morning due to loud music from adjacent restaurant despite the windows being closed.
High expectations of the porter for us to offer a tip on arrival despite only being on 1st floor!

Receptionist was not that friendly and didnt even ask if we enjoyed our stay!

This hotel is very expensive for what you get. Uncomfortable bed, hard pillows, needs redecorating. Miniscule bathroom. Good breakfast though and conveniently placed.

Old fashioned decor, slightly tatty and grubby. Conveniently placed for sights, but takes a while to get there from airport.

We got a very narrow room with 2 beds where it was difficult to walk.

The ceiling leaked at night and we changed rooms. The staff accommodated this without any problems. Breakfast was fine.

It would have been more helpful if the staff knew the water bus schedule better. We ended up with a water taxi which was more costly and found out that we could have taken the water bus.
