More than an apartment, this could be called a real palace because we are speaking of extraordinary premises located in the very central area of San Stae.

It overlooks the Gran Canal and from its balconies you can experience the real life of Gran Canal, which depicted in all art books. Venetian and foreign painters have enchanted by its beauty. The palace is an interesting example of the gradual transition to the Gothic. It has a charming water entrance with two mullion windows. |
It was commissioned by the Priuli family in XIII century but the following modification were made by the Dondolo family. It's probably one of the most outstanding examples of Venetian medieval architecture. Then the loggia was added by Priuli family in XVI century. |
 It was the residence of famous Doges, first of all G. Dondolo (1280-1289) and followed by F. Dondolo, Doge in 1329 and finally L. Priuli LXXXII Doge of Venice from 1556 to 1559 and G. Priuli 83° Doge's Venice between 1559 and 1569. |
