We let the staff know that it was our
anniversary. We asked them to do something
special for us. We paid 100 euros extra and
had a magnificent arrival. There were two
beautiful flower arrangements in the room,
candles, cookies, champagne and music. It
was wonderful.

There was a little bit of construction that
went on right out side of our room. It woke
us up the last 3 days we were there. It was
not too bad. It was 8am and we needed to
get up anyway.

On our last morning we requested breakfast
be brought up one hour earlier than our
other day so we could leave early to get to
the airport. The message was not passed
along and we did not get breakfast at the
right time.

Wonderful.

Venice can be a confusing place during the day let alone at night. Better directions to the hotel would have been useful. The place was great and came at a reasonable price for Venice.
