This was the first 'residenza' we stayed at so it was a bit confusing actually getting to the room -- the sign on the door was subtle and we almost missed it.

Absolutely beautiful accommodations. The owners were more than kind and we really enjoyed our stay.

Again, the owners were very kind and understanding, and were very helpful, especially that they let us leave our luggage with them even after we had checked out.

I would not have wanted to have a lot of luggage with us -- the climb to the residenza was pretty long. Fortunately we only had an overnight bag with us.

The Stay in 'At Home a Palazzo' was very very comfortable and calmful and we felt like have a visit by good friends. We want to stay there next year at the same time, of course! It was very very pleasant and we can say: That's the best!!!

Travellers Cheques are not welcomed by any of the bed & breakfast places that we stayed in. Even when in EUROs. It was explained to me that their banks charge them a service fee. Maybe cheques as a form of payment should be deleted from the list. This way no one will be surprised. This was not my problem here but it was at the other 4 places we stayed.

Venice is confusing. The map was very helpful as we know the area. The description how to find the Palazzo was in our opinion not correct and therefore confusing.

As the prices in Venice are extremly high the price compared to other hotels is good.

It is a very charming location and the name 'At home a palazzo' is fitting exactly. You get a key to a wonderful palazzo, have your own gorgeous room. It is like beeing at home in Venice.

We loved our stay there. Rosa and her husband were friendly, helpful and gracious. I would highly recommend it to anyone, not just because it was a palace, but because it truly was a lovely stay.

A very different kind of B&B, given its location. Exceptionally clean, very spacious rooms and delightful hosts. Who could ask for anything else?

Owner was very charming and went out of her way to be helpful. The Palazzo had a very spacious main living space with lovely views over the roof tops of Venice. Bedrooms and bathrooms extremely clean and well fitted out. Only minor gripe, the breakfasts could have been more imaginative

We did not get directions from you online. We called the hotel when we arrived in Venice and got directions from them.

It is stated on the website that internet and telephone are available. That is not accurate. We didn't have a telephone in the room; only a private phone in the common room that they graciously let us use, but that was not generally for guest use. There was no internet service at all.

If you like to stay in B&B's, then this is a one of a kind experience. The hotel is on the top floor of a Venetian palazzo. It was beautifully decorated and our room was really big. They only rent out 2-3 rooms so you get extremely attentive service.

there are three rooms, two of them share one bathroom!

upper floor of an old palazzo with a quiet and romantic atmosphere. The owners are very friendly and helpfull, they give a familiar feeling. The floor is furnished with lovely details. The palazzo is close to the center of Venice. We recommend the palazzo, the prize is upper level for that house and the facilities.
