I was surprised that the hotel was so close to the train station. It took us maybe 3 minutes to walk there with baggage.

There were no surprises. The location is perfect and the accommodations as advertised. The breakfast was adequate and the dining are clean

This hotel was in a good area Ferrovia (train Station). Especially if you are planning to do day trips to other places.. As a single traveler - this location was perfectly accessible with some neat restuarant and stores near. There was a phamasist across the way and the public transportation was about 100 meters away from the front door. These rooms are small but nice. the directions from the airport werent very clear. The number 5 bus will take you to Plaza le Roma and you can easily walk over 3 small bridges to the hotel or take the public transport to next stop.

In addition to our one night stay booked thru your organization we stayed 6 more
nights at Belle Epoque Hotel with a tour
and enjoyed our stay , as we said at our departure they deserve one more star.

Overall excellent accommodation and good value for money. Only one annoyance. We were in Room 205 and the floorboards in the room immediately above us were very very creaky, so for one of our nights we were disturbed by people coming back late and getting up early to leave. However with just that proviso I would happily recommend this hotel!

Very efficient, and a reasonable time to check out. We were able to leave our baggage during the day until ready to catch our flight in the evening.

Decor and fittings all to a very high standard.
The walls of our room had a very decorative material finish that also provided a degree inter room sound proofing.

Excellent, well placed for transport to and from Venice. Although on a busy street the rooms are set back and very quiet. Easy access to water buses and in a very pleasant part of the city.

Arrived early in morning so luggage was stored in small back area until we came back to check in after sightseeing around 4:00. Worked out fine.

The lobby and dining room were very beautiful and the breakfast was very good and had quite a nice variety.

Very beautiful room with excellent accomodations and breakfast. Very close to train station, bus station, water taxis and vaparetto. Good area for shopping and eating. Would definitely consider staying there again.

My only suggestion would be to improve the coffee at breakfast. It was machine coffee and not so good. Otherwise all was super, thanks.

We had stopped by the hotel last year when we were in Venice at another hotel that we did not like. We would definitely stay again at the Hotel Belle Epoque and would recommend it and your website to others.

I would describe it as a hotel in the Venetian style with an absolutely great location very near the main train station and having a very fine free continental breakfast. The only thing I would recommend is that the hotel should have brochures about tours of Venice and Venice attractions. These should be available in the lobby. We looked and asked, and the hotel didn't have any information on tours or attractions.

The Hotel was further away from San Marcos square. I think that this fact should not be over-played, or at least say a short boat ride from teh square.

Just given keys to room no one escorted us or explained airconditiong or safe.
Desk staff ( 3 )during the stay varied from friendly to unfriendly.

One morning at breakfast they had run out of croissants/pastries and the bread rolls were usually less than fresh, seemed reheated from frozen. Cereal, juice and fruit good. Cold meat unappetising and poor quality.

Other comparable hotels in Venice offered reduced rates after 7th or 8th January as the holiday period was over. Our prior query to the hotel about this had produced no variation or reduction in their quoted rate yet from Sunday 8th it was virtually empty.
